Granddad

My grandfather, Marvin. I call him Granddad. He and Nan always took me on vacation with them. Usually to the Smokey Mountains of Gatlinburg, TN. This is a picture of him on the Smokey Mountain Trolley.
Nan

Here is Nan in a cowboy hat. That is Cherokee, NC. It didn't seem so bad back when we used to go. I was there a couple of years ago and couldn't really remember much. I think its glory days are well past.
Dogpatch Trading Post

Here's an old favorite - Dog Patch Trading Post in London, KY. It was on the way to the Smokies, so we always stopped there.
Devils Tower

This was a highlight of my Minneapolis - Idaho Falls and back trip. Devils Tower in South Dakota. I didn't bring the mashed potatoes.
More Smokies

Nan and Granddad in the Smokies. Her favorite!
St. Louis

My Green County Fair blue ribbon photography days behind me, here is a picture of the St. Louis arch. Well, at least some of it!.
Hot Springs

Who knew Arkansas was so green? Here is a spring from Hot Springs, AR. President Bill Clinton grew up in Hot Springs. I just thought I would throw that trivia out there.
Arkansas

Like Lay's potato chips, you can't just stop at one picture of Arkansas!.
Smile

This is my friend Ronda at one the fine Fairmont properties in Alberta, Canada. Cheeze!
Lake Louise

Lake Louise in Alberta.
Oregon

Might be Oregon, might be northern California. I don't remember. But it is nice. A little coast, a little surf.
Alaska

A glacier in Alaska.
Banff

There's the old photography magic coming back! Banff is very beautiful and my pictures capture the splendor!.
New Home

I don't remember where this is - Rhode Island? Massachuttes? Connecticut? Somewhere in New England, and fall. 'nuff said.
I've fallen, and I can't get up!

Ronda has fallen on the ice in Banff. Of course I helped her up, but first - it's picture time!
Splash

I have no idea where this is. I have lots of pictures from all over the country with a splashing surf. .
Clouds
Springtime near the Golden Gate bridge. The clouds were rolling off the mountain.
Tempe
This is under a bridge at Tempe's Town Lake. I rented one of those paddle boats.
Bull

I put these together so you could see the full story. This was in Oregon I believe. Up the Pacific Coast highway. What I didn't realize is that Paul Bunyon there had a room inside it and a guy sat there watching people. He also had a microphone. So I am goofing around. I look at the bull (see picture 2) and tell my friend, rather loudly, "Look at the sack that one!" Next thing I know, the guy inside Paul says hey there fella! How's it going?!" We left very quickly after that!.
Smokies again
This may be from my first ever trip to Gatlinburg with my grandparents. That is a resin bear just down from the hotel we stayed at that time. Last time I was there, I saw that bear again. I should have remade the photo!.
