Circleville Pumpkin Show

Wow, what a time! That's me in the helmet. It was the fall of 1990, World Series was on - Cincinnati vs. Oakland. We had some good 'ole Jack Daniels in the hotel room. That's my drinking partner, Jeremy "Funky" Cole with out the shirt holding the bottle. The other guy without the shirt is Marc Michigan. My fraternity little brother Kevin "Country" Nichols in the throw-back MTV Remote Control shirt, and Jeff "Cheech" on the floor. Not sure what his last name is!
Beast

Back when Jerry "Beast" Starlin lived up to his name. Now he is skinny. Interesting how his name was Beast and he also called his rusty old car Beast...
Toxing

Freshman year we had this sport we invented. You know, anything to pass the time. Toxing (towel boxing) was frequently held in our dorm. That's me in action. Looks like a sneak attack on Shaker. So you take your shirt off, take your shower towel (best if slightly still wet) and beat the beejezus out of your opponent. You can give him a couple quick snaps, or do the two handed club for up close hand to hand.
After the Red Carnation Ball

Sweet outfit, Mark. I think I got that in downtown Gallipolis. Probably K-Mart if I had to guess. Black pants, black shirt with green triangles and a teal tie.
Neer

One of the founding fathers of the CDFL - Greg Neer. Greg was the first owner to win back to back CDFL titles. He was a big Cleveland Browns fan and a big Kiss fan.
Big Daddy

Mike "Big Daddy", "Tex" Voorheis. Mike was one of my roomates and a recruit for the CDFL. Now days he writes for the Wilmington Star newspaper. One of his best works was "Troll lives out his fantasy".
Nice Shirt, Shaker!

Chris "Shaker" Komandt. One of my roommates my freshman year, creator of Rio Grande's fantasy football league. He taught me all that I know about football. First member of the CDFL Hall of Fame also. Hey Shaker - Pro Bowl's on!
Dale Johnson

Dale Johnson was another one of the CDFL founding fathers. First beer that I ever had was with Dale. We bought six beers (Keystone and Keystone Light) from a guy down the hall during our sophmore year. Shaker, now the R.A., didn't like that too much!
Shaker and his lil' sis

Shaker and his fraternity lil' sister Jill Womeldorf at the Red Carnation Ball.
Tex hitting the books

Wasn't our dorm cozy? Here is Mike doing a little CDFL research probably!
Hulk-a-mania style!

Neer used to flex his muscles (yeah right!) over the CDFL competition
