![]() In years 2002-2003 all eleven members of Rusloboda Brotherhood visited Askov Hojskole (Denmark, if someone doesn't know, where this twon is). There we met eachother, there we became friends. It was such a wonderful time in a wonderful place. The life itself seeemed to be perfect. We were almost all the time together: spending days and nights in talks, funny games and playing badminton and computers. Our love - Fengers - was the place, where we could drink our weekend-beer and dance sometimes (when music was not that bad, what means "not so often" ;-)). But the most important place for all of us was our Red Corner in Gule Hus. Here was the gathering place for almost whole Rusloboda every evening at the coffee time. Phrases "Me too!", "Fuck you!" "Love you too!", "Lud sam!" and "Dasa rekla zvezdica!" were the most terrible noices for the whole Gule Hus. But who did care? ;-) One of the Rusloboda's hobbies was Badminton. Sometimes even in the middle of the night we came to the Gym and took rockets to our hands. Other people thought, that we were crazy. But we didn't care. And woke up just with one thought: "Will I have time today to play badminton?" We should say, that for badminton we almost always had time. But when some of us were playing badminton (what is healthy), the others were spoiling their eyes by sitting for hours in front of computers. We wouldn't mind if they did something useful, but they just played games. Actually, just one game. But what a game!!! Age of Empires became such a drug for Askov (especially for boys). Reading all these lines, you should think that we came to Askov just for having nice time. You are right. Even if you mean, that we didn't care about classes and our Danish language, which we supposed to learn and develope. We did. And that was not that bad time. Because at classes with Ulla, Henning, Kristian and the others we got an opportunity to learn much more about life. Much more, than about Danish democracy ;-) About democracy we learned almost every motning at Morgensamling. Thanks a lot to all our teachers (especially to Ulla). Three times a day we were invited to Spisesalen. It would be stupid to say, that we were there all the time. Boys sometimes didn't have enough enthusiasm to visit breakfast (playing Age of Empires during the nights made it's business). Girls were too preoccupied about their figures and didn't even show up for dinner. But coffee brakes always gathered us. How could we loose the chance to have coffee and few minutes for cigaret? To tell you the truth, the schedule in school cannot compare to the air of freedom and friendship, we could breath with. We are not in Askov now. But the feeling of beeing there is still with us. It makes us feel safe, strong and sure about future. What else can be better? |
