Game of the Week
91 106
Some would call it a Dynasty, others would call it the Buffalo Bills of Fantasy Football. Whatever you decide on, one thing you know is that the Colts are going to be good. Tawes consistently puts up teams that score, and it appears to be no different this year. The Colts got 2 guys in the 30's this week as football's new All-American boy Tom Brady started things off with 30, and Priest capped off Sunday with 36. Two performances like that and the century mark becomes a common place. What about he Lions though? Do you walk away happy or frustrated? 89 points an a loss is not fun, but we may see this years version of the two headed monster in McNabb and Tomlinson. The two combined for 57 this week, it wasn't enough as the Lions took a tough one on the chin.

A big win for the Oilers, but was it costly? Shaun Alexander is reported to have a bruised knee, but the Oiler season is in the hands of S.A. He put up 37 fantasy points Sunday morning against the Saints. Teamed with 14 from Joe Horn, it proved to be enough to get by the Eagles. Shoultes was lead by the 27 of Dominick Davis and 18 of Brian Westbrook. Pardee can't be happy watching the Barlow go for 8, as Q. Griffin sat on his bench.

We have seen the strong performances like this from the 49ers in years past. The move up the street seems to have paid off as the Niners ran all over the Redskins. The 49ers had a very balanced attack including 22 from Pennington and 18 from Faulk. Tiki Barber had 31 in a losing effort to give some of the Wisconson Ave faithful hope.

Our own version of the Backyard Brawl. Any ugly game, but close nonetheless. First team with 3 guys in double figures wins. The Cowboys could only manage to get Manning in with 20 and Edgerrin in with 19. The Hawks on the other hand got a game high 27 from Portis and a 15/13 combo from Hasslebeck and Rudi respectively.

How nice is it to have the game wrapped up going into Monday night? OK, how about when you still have 3 guys to go on Monday night? That was the case for the Cards as the expansion team started the season with a win. Strong performances highlighted by 32 poins from Ahman on Monday night.. The Pats can't be happy with Vinatieri the only double digit scorer with 10.

Gee, this one would have been a fun one to watch. No clue why the Pack didnt' start Culpepper, but it appears they didn't need him. Chad Johnson was the leader with 16. On the other side of the ball, what has happened to the Dolphins. Are they a cross between the Chargers and the Clippers? Second overall selection Duece McAllister was only good for 7 fantasy.

Shaun Alexander - 37 Fantasy
  Wow, 3 TD's and a Bruised Knee
Priest Holmes - 36 Fantasy
  Should be called "Priest Balls"
Donovan McNabb - 36 Fantasy
Free chunky soup all week for Donovan
Tom Brady - 30 Fantasy
How good did he look Thursday night?

Tony Gonzalez - 1 Fantasy
Nice 2 catches for 17 yards from Gonzo.
Eddie George - 2 Fantasy
Could have had 4pts if he played in the 2nd.
Koren Robinsin - 3 Fantasy
Had twice as many drops than fantasy points.
Charles Rogers - 0 Fantasy
Stat of the week: Years-2, GP-3

Dan Marino

How nice would it have been to start Dan Marino as your quarterback during the mid 80's. 'Super Dan' was unreal during those wonderful years. In 1984, Dan averaged 318 yds. through the air and 3 TD's a game! That translates to averaging 30 fantasy points a game....to put that into perspective, Priest Holmes averaged 23 fantasy in our league last year.
