Game of the Week

Love the games that come down to Monday Night and you don't even get to watch your own guys go. The only thing better than that, is sitting down after halftime to see your guy in the zone twice already, and the other guy with 50 yards catching. Now that is good times. The Oilers continue to roll, as they are over the 1K mark in points. Donovan McNabb continued to impress with 28 fantasy, throwing for 4 TD's, and Corey Dillon put up a double duce on Monday night, netting 22 fantasy. Rod Smith only got 2 points while filling in for Joe Horn. For the Eagles, this was a big loss, but can still make the playoffs with a solid close of the season. How about Reggie Wayne? Kid went for 25 fantasy on Sunday morning as the Colts offense continued to be absolutely unreal. It's just a guess to who the TD's are going to each week. Jake Plummer chipped in 19 adn Dom Davis 16, but that wasn't quite enough.

This was a huge win for Rose. With the tie helping him in the 4-7 tie-breaker,he needed this win. Thank you to Trent Green, and a late FG by Adam Vinatieri. Trent went for 32 fantasy on Monday Night to wrap this one up. The only other double digit offender was Fred Taylor and his 14 he put up. Phil did have 3 guys go for double-digits. He was led by the gun-slinger Kerry Collins and his 20 fantasy, but after that, only Duec McAllister and Ashley Lelie could get a decent number with 12 and 13 respectively. A dissapointment for Phil who needs Duce Staley to make an appearance sooner rather than later.

Bottom line is the Cards need to get things figured out. A rush of injuries has hurt them in the past few weeks, as they find themselves battling for the final playoff spot. On the other hand, the Packers continue to impress with a huge win this week. TBerry and the crew were led by the 30 from Oregon RB Rueben Droughns, and the 19 from Marc Bulger. All the talk is about how bad the Packers are, but they continue to get wins. Brett Favre was the only real highlight for the Cards as his 25 on Sunday Night against the Texans was the high for the Cards this week. The Cardinals have a huge game against the Eagles next week.

Two words. Mike Vick. He was the difference maker on Sunday as he rushed for over 100 yards in the Redskin win. Willis McGahee also got to 100 for the skins who won their 4th game in a row, and take a strangle hold on the divisional crown. Even getting a 0 from Jamal Lewis, they still had enough to get by the 49ers who got 1 from a banged up Ahman Green. Only 23 from Mr. Culpepper in the loss for the 'Niners. The 49ers are scrambling now as the once divisional favorite is looking just to get the final playoff spot now.

They call him "Double Down". Not only did the Cowboys beat the Seahawks lose to HR for the first time in 3 years, they got doubled up. The Cowboys "colt connection" was nice again as Edgerrin went for 30, and Peyton came back to life a bit only getting 25 fantasy. What about Mike Pittman though with a nice little 25 himself. The Seahawks were once again led by the scoring of Mushin Muhammad and his 27 fantasy. Jake Delhomme got 14 filling in for Matt Hasslebeck, but perhaps the bigger story was Clinton Portis who was only able to garner 3 fantasy.

Is there a team that is more reliant on their number one pick than the Colts? Priest Holmes goes down with injury, and all of a sudden the Colts are non-existant. 39? That is down right embarrasing! Still a bad trade for Nations? Kid fins himself in a tie for the last spot, and if LT gets it going, he could be very dangerous. Not a team I want to find myself playing in the first round. LT went for 25 on Sunday. He was one of 5 guys in double figures for Nations. Tawes....well 22 of his 39 came from Brady. Enough said.

Trent Green - 32 Fantasy
  Huge Monday night for Green
Rueben Droughns - 30 Fantasy
  Footlong sandwich here.
Edgerrin James - 30 Fantasy
Is this the Edge of 3 years ago?
Donovan McNabb - 28 Fantasy
"edging" out Mushin by a point.

Eric Johnson - 0 Fantasy
  Not good.
Jamal Lewis - 0 Fantasy
  This guy is a baby.
Ahman Green - 1 Fantasy
  Oh, poor bruised ribs.
Roy Williams - 1 Fantasy
  A rookie I can't figure out!

Marcus Allen - 1985

Love Marcus Allen. 1985 saw MA get over 2300 yards from scrimmage and 14 TD's in a season. If you are a fan looking at fantasy numbers, that puts him at over 140yds/game from scrimmage and almost a TD every week. In terms of numbers, that would be around 24 as an average. Not bad in a season that saw some great defenses. I would take him on my squad.
