Just a few short weeks ago, these two teams were making headlines for the trade that, among other players, sent Daunte Culpepper from the Pack to the Niners in exchange for Marshall Faulk...well, the Packers have improved to a 5-2 record, while the Niners find themselves in a race at 3-5. This one came down to Monday night. It was a scene that had Chad Pennington, trailing by nine fantasy, going against Randy McMichael. After an early McMichael TD catch, it was all Pennington. Dante Culpepper had another dissapointing week for the Niners, gathering only 15 fantasy. In fact, it was a late surge from Ahman Green and his 26 fantasy that gave Traut a shot going into Monday night. Is Marvin Harrison back? I'm not sure, but 29 fantasy from him on Sunday is finally enough I think to gain support that he is not having a bad year. Tommy continues to stay in a tie for first...but so does Traut!

When things go your way, things go your way. There really isn't much else I can say. The Oilers were ticked after losing last week, and they took it out on the Patriots. With 4 guys scoring over 27 (Gonzalez-27, Testaverde-27, Rod Smith-32, Alexander-35), the Oilers lived up to their Run and Shoot mentality in this drubbing. The Patriots did put up a respectable 76 points. Trent Green had a huge day early with 34 fantasy agains the Colts, and Curtis Martin was the other end of the sandwich, posting 21 on Monday night. Problem was the action between that was not pretty, including Fred Taylor going for 1 fantasy.

Was this fate? Just to let everybody know, Pardee and TC squared off late Saturday night in a huge pot of Out at Home. I'm going to say the pot was in the area of $60.00. Pardee ended up taking the money, but TC ended up with the Fantasy win this week. This was a pretty ugly game, especially if you are in the Eagle Camp. The Eagles were led by the 10 of Javon Walker, the only Eagle in double figures. For the Seahawks, late start, Muhsin Muhammad went for 25 fantasy, while Matt Hasslebeck turned in 15. This was as close to a must win as it gets for both teams. As we move into the second half of the season, both squads look to make their runs.

Are the Cowboys for real? Yes if you ask the Quilceda Cardinals. The Cowboys are all of a sudden scoring points. Of course, 51 from Peyton on Sunday morning helps things out just a bit. The injury to Terry Glenn also helped out the Cowboys as Keyshawn Johnson went for 20 points, finding the endzone oddly enough. The Cardinals are limping a bit, with Stephen Davis inactive, it was Brad Hoover getting the start and only going for 2 fantasy. Chris Brown's 25 fantasy was the highlight, but the lowlight has to be the news that Byron Leftwich may have been lost for the season with an ACL injury.

The Colts just keep on cruisin'. As if we didn't know, Priest Holme is back! 42 fantasy again this week, and another win for the Colts, who kept pace with the Packers at 5-2. Throw in 18 from David Carr, and 14 from Jimmy Smith, and you see how 98 is such an easy number to get to. Poor Philly here, as an early injury to Thomas Jones Sunday night ended his shot at the win here. Solid performances from his whole team though, as TO led him with 19, but 15 from Collins, Staley, and Lelie, along with 14 from Jason Whitten gave him a chance in this one with Duece McAllister missing action due to a by.

Have you heard the song "who let the dogs out?" Brooks was seen singing that as he ran down Marine View Drive Sunday evening. All of a sudden, the Redskins are rollin'...of course it has a lot to do with the success of Mike Vick. Vick was on this week as 34 fantasy was the number that vaulted Meek over the top. But 26 from Tiki, and 25 from Willis McGahee were the big factors in this win. On the other side of the ball, frustration is at an all time high for Team Nations. The Lions were lead by the 16 of McNabb, and 14 of Johnnie Morton.
