  5. Former Students

  • Mike Pittman - Carolina defense has gone for great to horrible.
  • Warrick Dunn - Standard whoever plays New Orleans player here.
  • Julius Jones - Bears rush defense is horrible.
  • Brett Favre - Favre on Monday night is unreal.

My favorite month is coming to an end.

Great times still to come. Again, I invite everyone to my world for a few days.

Home early today, put a bird in the oven for a test run, perhaps some chestnuts roasting over an open flame?

Other highlights of the 4 day weekend to come:

  • Thanksgiving Day
    • OK, love the day. Sit around and eat all day!
  • Silvertips Friday
    • Good times ahead as a group heads to Everett for some good hockey fun.
  • North Kitsap Jamboree
    • Cant' wait to hop across the water to see what Nations has to offer over there on Saturday.
  • Brager Bash 2004
    • Great lineup of characters for Bragers house on Saturday night. I hope some of you are still functioning when I arrive.
  • Seahawks Sunday
    • Heading down to watch the 'Hawks battle the Bills. Should be a great time with Cardinal GM and former league member Nobach.

5-3-0 (40-17-1) - What a year
thursday
West Virginia (-4) @ Pittsburgh
Did anybody else catch the Pitt qb swearing on TV after beating Notre Dame two weeks ago? Well I have it on DVR if you would like to see it. Kid threw for 5 TD's then dropped an F-Bomb on Nations TV during an interview. I'm sold. West Virginia is in a tailspin, and I know how they do it in during Pitt Home games. Take the Panthers and Dan Marino plus the points at home.
Friday
Colorado (+3) @ Nebraska
Not a huge fan of this game, but the kids enjoy seeing Nebraska falter a bit. I think they get things turned around, as this is their bowl game. Colorado is in shambles. The AD just resigned the other day, and Barnett may not be far behind. Bill Calahan is weird, but he gets his little West Coast offense going on Friday. The Buffs have already mailed it in for the season. Take the Cornhuskers minus the points at home.
LSU (-4) @ Arkansas
While the Tigers have been a bit dissapointing, it's all in perspective. Why, becuase they won a National Title last year? Arkansas has been more of a dissapointment this year, and it will continue on Friday. LSU makes a nice little run here and gets a decent bowl invite with this win. I like the Arkansas team, and Matt Jones, but Nick Saban is a stud and knows how to win games. Take the road team here as the Tigers to into Fayetteville and win by 5.
Arizona State (-14) @ Arizona
I think this is a bit of a trap game. The SunDevils have been up and down, while the Wildcats have been steadily improving under Mr. Stoops. I like them at home in this game as they look to build upon this years experience, and are a predicted middle of the pac team next season.
Texas (-11) @ Texas A&M
This one is nothing but trouble for the Longhorns I think. I'm sorry, but nobody wants to to to Kyle Field this late in the season and go against the 12th man. The Aggies are on a roll, and love their home turf. The Longhorns have squeeked by a few teams in past weeks. All the talk about Texas and the BCS may end up going away after this week. Take A&M plus the 11.
Saturday
Missouri (+4) @ Iowa State
You want to talk about dissapointments. Since that is the theme this week, look no further than the Missouri Tigers. What a disgrace. Glad I am a fan. Iowa State still has a shot at the Big 12 Championship game I believe if they can get the win here. It's at home, and Missouri has nothing to play for. Take the Cyclones in this one.
