  • Mike Vick - We all know he can put up unbelievable numbers. This Forcaster is looking more like the cover of SI, but Vick turns that around this week.
  • Shaun Alexander - Alexander is going to get a huge ovation when he takes the field in the home opener. A sign of a huge game.
  • Ahman Green - After struggling a bit last week, Ahman bounces back as this week in Green Bay is no fun, but pays off in a big GB win.
  • Aaron Brooks -No Duece for a month or so, Brooks will need to show form of a Pro Bowler and he will this week.

Already in Week #3 of this season, and we have some great action in the League:

  • Good Bounce back by El
  • Hawks are 2-0!
  • Week #2 had more injuries than Week #1

3-2 (7-3) - Great Start
Friday Night
Kentwood @ Stanwood (+6.5)
I have no clue on this one. I'm going to go with the program that has established itself. Kentwood is a powerhouse, and even though most of them have never been north of Seattle, they will bring action like Stanwood has never seen. Take the Conqs.
Saturday
Washington (+11) @ Notre Dame
It's tradition. I have to lay it on the Huskies every week. I might be crazy, but I do think they will win a game this week. I know they are going to Notre Dame, "They don't play well on the road"....well, they don't play well at home either! I will be on the course, frantically checking. Take the Huskies here getting 11 points.
Northwestern (+15) @ Minnesota
Back to back years for me lovin the Gophers. I usually try and stay away from these games with big point spreads, but I just wasn't impressed when I saw NW take on TCU in the opening week. I think the Gophers are pretty good, and they are playing at home. Love the home team here.
Oregon State (+7) @ Arizona State
What could have been for the Beavers. Oh, wow. Well, too bad...becuase it isn't. Arizona State is coming off a whooping of Iowa at SundDevil Stadium, and it will continue this Saturday night against the Beavers. I look for ASU to lay it on a frustrated Oregon State team, whose season is lost now after the LSU debacle and then getting tossed around Smurf Turf by Boise State.
Penn State (-3.5) @ Wisconsin
How come Wisconsin is rarely favored? I know they are without their top back, Mr. Davis, but playing at Camp Randall is not easy. You know this one will be the 9:00am game on ESPN. Yeah. They aren't fun to watch...The Badgers that is...but they keep the games close. I late TD gives them the victory over Joe P, and an early lead in the run for the Big 10 championship.
