  • Jamal Lewis - Lot of confidence gained last week and they play the Cheifs at home on Monday night. He may go for 200 yards on the ground.
  • Terrell Owens - Not too big of a stretch here, but TO will make RW McQuarters look like a roll of nickels. What?
  • Fred Taylor - Is it the week that the former Gator has his outbreak? I think it is becuase I'm going against him.

Big weekend of action. How big? HUGE!

October Extravaganza appears to be on hold for a bit, or possibly some adjustment in time. I know there are some out there in life who have some other things going, and I understand.

Like I said on the message board, could you pleasae let me know if you plan on attending. At least it would be nice to get a poker game in while we watch Tennessee and Auburn duke it out on the projector!

I know I have some things I would love to take care of during the day, so between College GameDay and say the mid afternoon games, I may be gone.

But I would love to step it up a bit in the afternoon.

Does anyone want a piece of me in Madden?

4-1 (11-4) - Great Start
Friday Night
Stanwood (+5) @ Arlington
Where the Spartans exposed last weekend at home against Kentwood? Turnovers killed them. Arlington is definitely clicking, and this is homecoming for the Eagles. Who knows what will show up in A-Town. I'm going just to see Will Wampler. Take the Eagles minus the points.
Saturday
Auburn (+2.5) @ Tennessee
The two undefeated teams take the field this weekend at Rocky Top. A win by Auburn last year cost the Vols the SEC East title. Not this year. The Vols are still on the high of beating Florida two weeks ago. Auburn has all of the pressure to produce on the groun in this one. It will be close, but Erik Ainge leads the Vols at the end to a 3 point victory.
Colorado (+7) @ Missouri
I love me some home teams, and I love me some Mizzou! Colorado has horrible defense, and the Tigers had a serious wake up call from Troy. The Buffs rank 116th in the nation in pass defense. The Buffalos have found ways to win, but those were against CSU, WSU, and N. Texas. Take the Tigers here.
Washington (+10) @ Stanford
This might be a first. Hopefully this will reverse the fortune. UW's only hope is against a weak Stanford passing defense. Oh, the Dawgs are starting a freshman QB. Stanford has a good running game, and we know how good the Dawgs' rush defense is...just ask UCLA. The Huskies have 10 turnovers in the first 3 games. All is definitely not well in Montlake, but we still hope. Remember there are kindegarteners who have never seen the Cougars win an Apple Cup. Cardinal here.
Purdue (-1) @ Notre Dame
Fun. I have to put this one down, becuase for once the Irish are on ABC instead of NBC. I'm reaching here aren't I. The Irish come back down to life as Kyle Orton lights the lamp 3 times on Saturday. The Gold Helmet team from Indiana evens out the record at 2 and 2...oh wait, what gold helmet team from Indiana? Take the Boilermakers here by a touchdown.
