- Kerry Collins - An odd pick yes, but I think this former Nittany Lion is ready to breakout. The Colts barely have a D, and the Raiders have 17 young recievers.
- Randy Moss - OK, Moss is like 7-3, and Dunta Robinson is 4-10. It will be nothing but jump balls to Moss all day Sunday, and 3 of them for TD's.
- Mike Vick - Vick was actually a bit dissapointing to owners last week, but this week he combines running and passing against the Lions.
- Tom Brady - Guy is unreal. Quietly throwing for 300 yards a game. Things don't change this week against the Mighty Dolphins.

Somewhat of a Break in our constant weekend action. Not too much though as we have a nice little 30th Birthday part at Jody's parents for her and her brother. See some of you there?
Some other hightlights of the weekend include:
Oklahoma vs. Texas - Love this game every year!
Cal vs. USC - are the Bears for real?
Seahawks vs. Rams - finally a test for the Hawks!
Celtic Pride vs. Trojans - for the Reg. Season Chip.

MP (-8) @ Stanwood
Big matchup in Spartaville this weekend. It's homecoming for the Spartans, but I'm not sure if that matters. Stanwood is coming off back to back losses, and this is a huge game in their season. MP is 5-0 overall and ranked 12th in the State. Are the Tommies for real? Not sure, but they get it done this friday ruining the Spartans homecoming. Take MP minus the points. |

New Mexico (-1) @ Air Force
I really think the wrong team is favored here. The Falcons run a very slow, ball-controlled offense. A vast difference to what New Mexico likes to do. I think New Mexico and their offense is overrated and will be in trouble as they travel to Colorado this weekend. The Lobos lose in this Mountain West battle that puts the Falcons in the lead for the title. |
NC State (-10.5) @ UNC
Home team getting more than a touchdown in a rivalry game. That is the only way I would take a team in baby blue. I like the Tarheels in this game for both of those reasons...plus, Phillip Rivers is finally gone from Raliegh. NC has played a couple of tough teams. I don't think they will win this game, but I do think they will cover. |
UAB (-12.5) @ Mississippi State
To be completely honest, I know nothing about these two teams. It just seems odd that a home SEC team is giving up 12.5 points to a Conf. USA team in October. I know MSU is not that good, but is UAB good enough to win by almost two TD's on the road? Mississippi State wins this emotional battle and gives their brother head coach a nice little home victory. OK, maybe they won' twin, but they will cover. |
Mississippi (+17) @ South Carolina
I love my Mississippi teams. I'm going with that theme this week, as I am taking the Rebels as well. I dont' know if S. Carolina is capable of scoring 17 points in a game, and I think Ole Miss will score. I can't wait to see Lou Holtz spitting all over his players in disgust as the Gamecocks only win by 16. |
