  • Chad Pennington - Little bit of a down week against Buffalo last Sunday, but a bounce back at home this week vs. SF.
  • Dante Culpepper - Not a tough one here. the Sunday night game will be a scorefest. Dante will keep it up.
  • Joe Horn - Does anyone remember what happened last time the Saints played on Sunday night? Joe Horn, phone call line 1.
  • Artose Pinner - Sleeper pick of the week. This comes from the "take the RB who plays against Green Bay" category.

I hate MIAMI!

We have some movement in the lastest edition of the Power Poll. Some teams have moved, and Rose has moved out of the bottom spot after an impressive week.

Commish

5-0 (20-5) - On Fire!
Friday Night
Stanwood (+2) @ Oak Harbor
Showtime on Whidbey Island. The Spartans and the Wildcats matchup in what turns out to be a game of two 4-1 teams. This is the biggest game of the season for these two teams. The winner gets an upper hand on one of the top 3 spots in the WESCO North division, while the loser will face an uphill battle the next 3 weeks. Always tough playing in Oak Harbor, take the Wildcats minus the points.
Saturday
Arizona (-11) @ Oregon
I can't believe I'm actually taking the Ducks here. Stoops has the Wildcats on the road back to success, but not quite so fast my friend. The Ducks were unbelievable last weekend in a win over the Cougars, and it just keeps going here. The Ducks come home after the win last week and face a weak Wildcat team. Take the Ducks in this one minus the points.
NC State (+3) @ Maryland
Sticking with a game that involves the Wolfpack. Those of you around last year remember how much I loved Phillip Rivers and NC State. Not this year. TA is a puss, and the Wolfpack are overrated. They go on the road to Maryland in a big ACC game. The loss last week to UNC still rings in the minds of NC State. Maryland may win this one big time. Take the Terps.
Stanford (pick em) @ Washington State
Rolling the dice here a bit with a game in Pullman. It's kind of like playing in Oak Harbor. You never know who is going to show up to officiate the game and what is going to happen. That being said, I am taking the Cardinal in this one. I think Stanford is a bit better than people think. How will the Cougs bounce back after last weekends debacle? I'm taking the Cardinal here.
Arkansas (+13) @ Auburn
Going against some conventional wisdom here again. I like to take home dogs and usually stay away from big rivals, but I think Auburn is really good. Matt Jones is still at Arkansas, but they are not as good as they were last year, and Auburn is much better. I really think that Auburn can win by two TD's at home. Take the Tigers here.
