10. Guild Continuity: Ashland, a dreary little city in the state of New York, a bit southeast of Lake Ontario. Here, immortal vampires brush shoulders with humans, and a secret war is waged every night, between the many divided factions of supernatural forces.

13. Characters Supported by the Continuity: The various characters in the World of Darkness are allowed. They operate under the many House Rules presented here, but in summary, the main characters of Vampire: the Masquerade, Hunter: the Reckoning, Wraith: the Oblivion, Changeling: the Dreaming, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Mage: the Ascension, and Demon: the Fallen are permitted. It should be noted that the characters are predominantly vampires.

15. Backstory: A town that once was bustling and booming now is tattered and drained. Much of the vigor that was within it before has departed. Even so, it has those people who live there, like any other, and persists. But, behind this semblance one can catch flickering glimpses of a shadow world. Ancient nightmares and newborn saviours walk the dark hours. But in this hidden war, fought with open arms and secret whispers, one must ask the question which is which?
