Welcome to my REU 2001 page!
Summer 2001 I did an REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) at
Iowa State Universtiy
. REU is a program funded by the

My Project!
My advisor was
Mike Reed
, a recent Ph.D. graduate in
astronomy at ISU
. So that means I was also working indirectly under
Steve Kawaler
.
I had an observing project, doing high speed CCD photometry on KPD1930 mainly, but we also took data on PG1716+426. These are both sdb variable stars.
I worked late at
Fick Observatory
using the 24'' telescope. Here I am hooking in the CCD:
Are we having fun yet?
