| Dan's Bio Instrument: Keyboardist and resident resonant filter wizard. Birthplace: Wappingers Falls, NY. Age: 18 Nationality: Basically I'm a Scottish German living in America. Favorite Music: Jean Michel Jarre, Einsturzende Neubauten, Front Line Assembly, Aphex Twin, Geggy Tah, The Future Sound of London, Haujobb, Anime soundtracks, Blue Man Group, Josh Wynn, Coltrane, Lamb, Satie and of course Beethoven. How he became included in the band: Well here I am hanging around at my house one summer when Josh calls me and says "Hey Dan, you want to play in a band?" I think wow, it's been forever but sure I'll try it out. Note: The first time I brought a Mandolin. Then a native South American instrument I restored. Then I broke down and brought it all cause it's more fun that way. So we started playing and before Mike I was mostly in charge of making drum-like sounds. But now I've become more of a synth pad/lo-end 80s-synth-pop guy. We can dance if we want to. Equipment- Roland JP-8000, Korg MS2000, Nord Lead 3, Akai S20, Fostex FD-8, BOSS BF-2 Flanger, BOSS Hyper Metal, Realistic Stereo Reverb (retro!), MK-149 MIDI controller (for the Akai), Dunlop Crybaby Wah (which is around here…somewhere…), great big Gateway computer, uhm, me. And my plush cow. Moo. My Pioneer Monitor 10 headset, and my brand new Chapman Stick! |
