| Josh's Bio Instrument: Rhythm guitar, lead and backup vocals, target for drumsticks and stinging barbs from co-workers. Birthplace: Manhattan, NY Age: 16 Nationality: Global Mutt Favorite Music: The Beatles, Dylan, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, The Band, BB King, all blues, Foo Fighters, Counting Crows, Guster, D.T, Kessler, Future Sound Of London, everything else. How he became included in the band: Growing up in the oppressive town of wappy falls, was teaching himself guitar, Nicole learned bass. We played in a lousy "band" in which the practices consisted of 5 or 6 people squeezing into a little room in between the cracks in the drumset, playing really loud, badly and not with the beat, and one dude tripping over his pedal every couple of minutes. It sucked. Needless to say, Nicole and Josh decided to blow that fascist popsicle stand, and they formed a group, bass, guitar and vocals, entitled Food, Gas and Lodging. After playing 3 or 4 gigs, they decided that they needed something else in the mix, so they recruited Drew and Dan, played that coffeehouse gig, and were approached by Mike the drummer. The rest is history. So was born Further.
