This was our second show with Syndicate. Unfortunately, after they played only a few songs, drummer Dan Bolton bolted, if you will. Then the Extent took the stage again, only to play a intense, high energy set. It was lots of fun, even though the searing July sun had no mercy on our poor defenseless little souls. "Whores!" was once again dedicated to Rachel Mantinan. Then during the Rage songs, Jon managed to break more of his equipment. Some how, his effects weren't working, which will definently fuck up any Rage songs. But he threw together a couple of ad-lib solos, but it was still weird. But the action really heated up after, when a mad game of soccer erupted. Our team lost in a nail-biter 4 to 3. Jon had a goal and 2 assists. Scott had 3 assists, and Dave added a goal for our team. But silly Matt decided he was too good for a game of English football. Jay Mossberger played a stellar game in net. But the play of the game goes to Scott Mills, who had the Kick Of The Century which would have traveled five to six city blocks had it not hit Ramano square in the pills at a close distance. Ouch!
