Articles documenting Hasbro releasing old toys and/or Transformers in 
China around 1990:

1) Encyclopedia-style article on Hasbro stating that they increased 
their activity in overseas in the late-1980's/early 1990's, 
particularly in Asia.  They also make reference to them rereleasing 
old toys that failed in the USA--could be a reference to reissued TFs 
and GI Joes in China, but they didn't fail in the USA, so who knows.
