90's Release of Chinese Dinos:
1. Re: Was G1 US Broadside Made in China? Posted by: "Joseph Bozanio Jansz" and "Martin" Date: Thu Aug 3, 2006 8:15 am (PDT) ((You can see the sticker on the back which leads me to believe based on past carded cassettes that I have seen that Broadside was Made in China post G1. Is this true? Is there a thread or a posting that lists all those G1s that were KO'ed in this manner? I do remember that all the dinobots were.)) -Broadside is "new" to me, but doesn't really surprise me; haven't seen any of the Dinobots, though. All the obvisou signs are there on this Broadside: The sticker you mention, the sticker on the top right-hand corner of the flap front and (what appears from afar to be) a truncated copyright statement on the back. -Martin- ((CRAP. This is truly scary. I was stuck with the dinos on a number of occasions as they get posted quite often on auction sites. They were mainly sold in the JPN market.)) -You can tell the Chinese versions quite easily since the dino bubble inserts had additional tabs on the corners and they only came with instructions and the sticker label as this Broadside does. None of the Chinese dinos came with those additional Chinese sticker labels on the box though and that is where you can make a mistake if pics of the item only show the front of the box.-
