Some SERIOUS Joustra news!! Posted by: "Maz" Date: Sun Jul 2, 2006 6:14 am (PDT) Hey guys, I listed my Joustra F15 Starscream on eBay last week since I was so dissatisfied with it and got my claim rejected by Paypal. I received an email from a French collector asking me if I had any access to other Joustra Diaclones. All I know is who owns what but don't really know where to get them en masse so I said no, and directed him to my Joustra Ligier article. Now the guy read the article, and has emailed me again with some CRACKING information about Joustras!! Now I wondered, should I share or should I wait, because let's face it, the surprise of seeing the Joustra Powered Convoy for the first time last year was one of the absolute highlights of the year, if not THE highlight, and those kinds of surprises are really rare these days. Of course I should share, and hold on to yer hats and weasels because this is major. Now what was the difference between Byron's Joustra Powered COnvoy and all the other Joustras we had seen? Well, it had a new grid pattern on the box and a window that you can see the toy through. The ONLY other Joustra I had seen like that was Ras' Helicopter cassette. That's because both of those releases were second wave Joustra. Here's a quote from the guy's email, A French collector, Ras knows him as well: "I confirm that Joustra released a second wave of Diaclone toys that were produced in very little quantity. Trailbreaker was part of the 1st release, I know someone who has a MIB one ... he's the only collector I know who has a MIB (unapplied stickers and all) ... Toyota is the hardest to find of all the "cars" of the 1st series ... As for the second wave (Power Convoy being part of it), they came with "window" boxes ..." I KNEW there was a Joustra Trailbreaker :) !! Well there had to be, he was so heavily featured in the comic and the box pictures. But here is the absolute kicker, the gem... "A Friend of mine saw the boxed "Nissan Fairlady" police car (Prowl) once, at a flee market." JOUSTRA F*CKING PROWL?!?!?!? NAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Well, time to add that to your lists folks, a second release window/grid boxed Joustra Nissan Fairlady Z Police. Good luck! All the best Maz
