Hunter X Hunter

Chapter 1

The scene is set on whale island where the main character is introduced.
Gon freccs, age 12 lives with his aunt Mito.
Gon is playing in the forest when he accidentally bumps on to a big bear-like
animal. He is saved by Kaito (Kite) who is a hunter and learns that Gon is the
son of Jin (Gin) Freccs, his master. Kaito tells about Jin especially becoming a hunter.
He convinces Gon and Gon consults Mito who immediately repelled the idea.
Gon then made a bet,that if he would catch the "monster" (big fish) in the pond, Mito will sign
the card that allows him to go on a journey and become a hunter. Gon wins, and sets
on to his journey: To be a hunter.

Chapter 2

Gon enters a cicus and meets the bear-like creature again in a cage.
He took pity on it and promised to save it from the guy saying that
he is a hunter. He meets Leorio, who steals money from the bad guy and saves Gon and the
creature. They escape and Leorio turned out to be also one of the candidates for the
hunter's test.

Chapter 3

Welcome the ship of the hunters! Inside, Leorio and Gon meet Kurapika, a member of the deceased
Kuruta tribe. From the very beginning, Leorio insults Kurapika's tribe
and Kurapika insults Leorio. They tried to settle it in a fierce fight
but gets interrupted when a storm came and Gon tried to save a crew who went overboard.

Chapter 4

After the sickening ship storm ride, Leorio and Kurapika shake hands and make up.
They then stop over a place called Dore. (They passed the first test by the way)
They have to reach the place on the mountain where a shortcut and a test awaits them.
But as they get there, an old woman with kids in masks blocks them and asks questions.
The answer lies among the participants, which one is true?

Chapter5

The three reach the top of the mountain. But the problem is, where are the guides? So, they
went looking for them and stumble on to a wounded man's house. (who's just been attacked by the way)
Leorio, being a doctor in his own insticts, helps the man while Kurapika and Gon follow the attacker and help save
the man's wife. Kurapika finds the woman, (who's full of markings on her face and probably her whole body) and helps her. Gon followed after the animal who attacked the couple. They later on find out that all of it was an act and still part of the test. (It's really great how Kurapika noticed and knew about the markings on the woman's body!!! It turned out that the couple were siblings and they are mythical cratures!)

Chapter6

The creature takes them to the next exam venue. There they meet many more hunter wannabes
and also Satotsu, their guide and exam giver. They went on a long tube and ran for many hours and they
must keep up after Satotsu who walks really, really fast. Gon meets Killua here and at first glance, Killua gets interested with Gon.

Chapter7

Tomba, a repeater (and perhaps forever will be) on the hunter exams befriends the trio and helps Leorio
and another applicant. (fat guy, with glasses and carries a laptop) He lured them into a place
where there are sweet smelling plants but these plants cause people to hallucinate or see again
their most tragic, traumatic moment in their lives. Leorio hallucinates about his dead friend
while the fat guy hallucinates about failure. Kurapika and Gon came to the rescue but Kurapika
also hallucinates about..yep Spider leaving Gon to carry them out! (Poor Gon) Killua came to the
rescue and made a hole out of his bombs so they can follow the running group and satotsu.

Chapter8

The group is nearing the next venue. And Hisoka,(Being the pshycotic B****) goes on a rampage and throws cards
among the other applicants and kills some of them. hehe

Chapter9

On with the next exam. Their task, to cook wild boars! Easy you say? not this one the boar must be hit to weaken it but
not just anywhere, but the nose. The next one is to make a sushi. Our heroes are confused and only Hanzo knows how to make one!! (Hilarious how the guys try to make sushi!!
Sushi? That's me!!! ^_^ Aw, Kurapika made a cute moving sushi)

Chapter10

Meet Mench, a gorgeous Gourmet hunter. But not as nice as her looks when she flunked all the applicants because they can't make the right sushi. She says "goodbye" then the applicants complain about the judging. Because of the situation at hand, Chairman Netero came to the rescue and all they have to do now is to get some eggs and cook it!

Chapter12

Killua fights with his "bitchy" side about Gon. He wins and goes on. (Rhyming words hehe) He and Gon go over to Chairman Netero and had a little game: To get the ball from the chairman. Killua is out and Gon is left behind. But, little Gon had other plans, rather than just taking the ball, he now wants to get the chairman to use his right hand and left food which he rarely does.

Chapter13

The next test is to get to the bottom of a tower in three days rather than going up on it. OOps! those who use the sides or climb on it dies. So, no choice. They have to enter specially marked holes below them. Tonpa joins the group, (what stupid luck!) and they are off to face and survive many traps as weel as themselves. Not to mention, a match against really hardened criminals whose sentence will be reduced once they defeat, prevent or kill and applicant so it can't go down.
