The Story
The Fellowship's journey is coming to an end. Sauron's forces have attacked Gondor's capital of Minas Tirith in his final siege against mankind. Watched over by a fading steward, the once great kingdom has never been in more desperate need of its king. But will Aragorn find the strength to become what he was born to be and rise to meet his destiny? As Gandalf desperately tries to move the broken forces of Gondor to act, Théoden unites the warriors of Rohan to join in the fight. Even in their courage and passionate loyalty, the forces of men – with Éowyn and Merry hidden among them – are no match against the swarming legions of enemies raining down on the kingdom. With each victory comes great sacrifice. Despite their great losses, The Fellowship charges forward in the greatest battle of their lifetime, united in their singular goal to give Frodo a chance to complete his quest. Traveling across treacherous enemy lands, Frodo must rely increasingly on Sam and Gollum as The Ring continues to test his allegiance and, ultimately, his soul.
My Review
I'm upset. After three years of sitting in a movie theater and waiting for Gandolf and Frodo to appear on the screen....we finally watched them finish their quests and save MiddleEarth. Now what am I supposed to do. There is no more waiting for the next installment or sitting in the movie theater and watching the lights go down and the hobbits come up. It's all over. But it sure did end with a bang. The epic battle happened and ended. Aragorn and Arwen ended up together. Eowyn ended up forgetting about Aragorn and become and strong and independent warrior. Legolas and Gimli played the killing game and pretty much it ended with a tie and Frodo and Sam ended their journey and saved the world. The film was by far the best of the three. The movie was beautiful looking. Everything about the movie was perfect. There is no other words to describe the film other then perfect. The best way to end the best franchise to ever grace the screen. One slight issue would have to be the fact that the ending went oon forever but i guess they needed to resolve everyone and it didn't take away from how much i love the movie. EXTRAORDINARY!!!! Way to kick ass Peter Jackson!
