Ohio Power Campground's There are aprox. nine campgrounds within the Ohio Power Stripmine's property and most of the pict's are from just a small section of campground "D" and   some from campground "A"..  Most campgrounds are located by some water, be it a stream or pond and these waters are stocked by the Ohio Fish and Game Dept.. These campgrounds are free for the asking,, all that is needed is a free permit from Ohio Power { now called "American Electric Power"}  and is availiable at any A.E.P. Corp. office.. Some sites are very large,,,there are 4 units in this one.. All campsite roads are gravel, but good...

All campgrounds have these water pumps scattered throughout the area for use by the campers.. There are no dump stations,, no electricity,, no nuttin but peace and quiet--- these are the "BOONIES"
