The following pictures are from Walt Disney World's Fort Wilderness Campgrounds...

view of a campsite

This was the pad I was camped at. As you can see, this site has a level cement parking pad and at the rear of the pad there is a furnished grill for charcoal cooking along with the obligatory picnic table. The street side wheels of the trailer are right on the edge of the pad so this should give you an idea of the width of the cement slab.

interior road view

Standing at the front of my campsite, looking left at the next two sites further down the campground road....

Below is the view we had out of the picture window of the plants, trees and a class C camper parked in another site.

inside looking outside

The same view as the above picture taken from outside the camper.

It dosn't get much better than this!!

buried trash cans and recycle bin's

This picture was taken from the front of the restroom/shower room and laundry room all housed under one roof. The trash cans are buried halfway into the ground and the three plastic crates on the pole are for glass, plastic and aluminum re-cycling. Every site has this type of a setup...

Men's Room

Here is an inside view of the sink/toilet area.. I was supprised that there were only two of the sit-down facilities and two stand up stalls. I was not able to take any pict's of the shower side as every time I went there, they were in use and I did not want to get caught in what could have been a touchy situation.. Know what I mean.?? The facilities were squeeky clean as expected.

These dryer's get a workout here in SUNNY Fla.

Above is a view of the laundry room that separates the ladies restroom from the men's

Below is a picture of some visitors we had early in the morning at a campground in Pigeon Forge Tenn. Just thought you would get a kick out of this one... I hope this gives you an idea of what Disney's Fort Wilderness looks like now...I was impressed!!
