Comments: The thought of Jimmy returning to the band makes me hard. Jimmy's got the beats all you Sp lovers. I know the echo of love. |

Comments: well, at first i didn't like the idea but i am getting used to it and i think that whatever the band feels happy with i'm sure i'll be happy too =). |

8. danny quinn - 01/29/99 Email:danny_quinn@yahoo.com Age: 17 Location: san jose | Comments: I think he should be rehired because it will make the band whole again. It would be like going in a big circle because they always said that Adore is like the music they played before Jimmy and if they rehired him it would complete the circle. |
7. red militante - 01/26/99 Email:redmilit@concentric.net Age: 28 Location: nyc | Comments: yes they need him badly they need to rock like in the old days and he is the best drummer hands down since bonham i think anyone would agree that they've not been the same since and billy knows it too so make him clean up bring him back and rock! |
6. Gregory Koenig - 01/23/99 Age: 21 Location: ny | Comments: I defenatly think that they need to rehire Jimmy. not that i think that ador was bad I think it was a great record. But I still like lisening to rock and going to rock conserts and a smashing pumpkins and the smashing pumpkins are the only great rock band left. And they need the wild personalty, and the wsomest totaly talented drumer Jimmy. |
5. Allison - 01/23/99 Email:luna_53@hotmail.com Age: 15 Location: maryland | Comments: no, no, no. that would totally go against everything they said about how he's 110% out of the band. he made a lot of mistakes, and people don't change. don't get me wrong, i love jimmy. he's an amazing drummer, but re-hiring him right now is just not a sm rt move. and you know, i just wanna send out a nice fuck you to everyone who says that without him they're no good, and that adore is thier worst album, and blah blah blah and all that shit. such loyal fans aren't you? adore is a great album. i see the pumpkins moving on and reaching new heights, exceeding boundaries, and such. they don't need to be digging into the old past bullshit. what's done is done. i'm sure billy has a little more integrity than to rehire jimmy now. |
4. Gary Baird - 01/22/99 18:14:47 Age: 17 Location: Portadown, Co. Armagh, N.Ireland | Comments: Yeah, I do think they should re-hire Jimmy. He was part of the Pumpkins' from the beginning and part of the edge which the band had, was lost iin 'Adore'. A loyal drummer can not be found as it has been proved with the recruitment of Matt Walker etc, so the sooner the better. |

Comments: I defenatly think they should rehire Jimmy, but I will respect Billy's choice. I would however like to write down a poem I absent mindedly wrote late one night.I hope you take time to read it.Thanks. .............The power of their Music ........... Through the changes of my life, your passionate words caught me as I fell into the great void of deep loss. Your spell casting words rid me of the frost of cold lonleyness. As I rest,I dream of the misery in my heart, and I begin to forget all of my blessings. As I listen to your song I remember things long forgotten. Between the webs of sorrow and the warmth of happieness,I here the sound of voices and smile for it is you. ... .Many thanks to Morgan Agrillo(age14)for his assistance! |
2. Daniel - 01/18/99 Email:Phreak3379@aol.com Age: 15 Location: where you fear to tread | Comments: YES!!!!!! i think jimmy should definitely be rehired!!!! He was a great drummer, and in someways, if you listen to the pumpkins from siamese dream, gish and Mellon collie, and then listen to the new adore stuff, i dont think that the new pumpkins are as good as they were. in someways jimmmy defined the feel of the pumpkins, he added ower to the rythm section. They should ditch the drum machine and go for Jimmy. |
