Dear Mulder, There's this guy.  He's called Ben and he's lovely.  A really great guy.  I think he likes me too.  I want to ask him out, but I don't know how.  It's really getting me down! It's cool that you like this guy, and that he likes you.  The best way guys like to be asked out is if you just say it. Dear Scully OK here is my prob: See, in 8th grade I started going out with this 9th grader, he was really cuet and he was the only guy that liked me. Well, after a while i broke up with him but then, like a week later, I got back with him. It went on like this: I dumped him 8 diffrent times and always got back with him. Well, now I've broken up with him for good, it has been about a month now and I still have feelings for him. Somethimes I still wish I was still dating him but he could never get his mind off of having sex. I'm in 9th grade now and I just want to know what do about this.  Thanks for helping me.          ~Bethany~ __________________________________________ Hey, Bethany.  Sounds like you two have an *interesting* relationship.  Believe me, this happens a lot when you're young.  Why did you dump him 8 different times?  Was it because all he thought about was sex?  If he wants you to have sex, especially if you're only in 9th grade, it sounds like he doesn't respect the law, or you.  It's illegal to have sex under 16 (yeah, I know you know that!) and he could get put in prison for it. I think you need to think long and hard about why you like him.  The best way to do this, I find, is to write a list of good and bad points, keeping everything clear and simple.  Take a look at them.  He sounds okay, but you're only young and you shouldn't be thinking about having sex all the time.  Go have fun with him!  If you wanna go out, fine.  Actually go *out*; go see a movie, play in the park, talk, things like that.  There's pleanty of time to have sex when you're a little older. I know I sound like a parent, but I guess I'm getting a little maternal, what with the bump that stops me wearing *normal* clothes and Mulder pestering me about my health.  I know he cares, but he's so protective!  Anyway, see how it goes and send me the results!
