Talents

Talents Do you have a special talent, or something you are really good at? Maybe your good at singing or organizing, or maybe you really have a knack for computers. Seeing that God made you, he gave you those talents and he wants you to use those talents for him. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, That he excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 Your talents are God's power inside you, they're not just yours. God always does everything for a purpose. He wants you to use it for the ministry. In the bible the story of the talents (talents is money back in the bible times -Kinda like a hundred dollar bill but more) there were three servants. Each was give an amount of talents by their master to take care of. The first and the second invested their money and got twice what they had, but the third just dug up a hole and put it in there. When the master came back and he saw what the first and second one did he said he could enter the kingdom of God and called them good and faithful, but to the last he got his talent taken away and was sent away. This is like your talents and special qualities, if you use them correctly, like for the ministry you'll be blessed. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function so we being many, are one body in Christ and individually members of one another. Romans 12;4-5 Just because you can't sing like that girl next to you, or you aren't as brave as the boy across from you doesn't mean you are not needed in the body of Christ (that's the whole Christian body if you didn't know).
