Koko was imported from the wonderful Noelene Landow Edwards, Tasmania, Australia in 1995. My old Smooth Fox Terrier Zak was 13. I brought he and his mother to Guam in 1985. For some time he was the only Fox Terrier on Guam. The Smooth Fox Terrier's popularity has grown on Guam and friend Melody imported Bobby and Daisy from Hawaii in 1999. The two pups from Koko and Bobby's Halloween 2000 litter were stunning at the March 2001 with Spook taking Best In Show at 5 months old. They should only improve with maturity. The Smooth Fox Terriers on Guam are great at hunting tree snakes, shrews, rats, mice, geckos, tropical cockroaches and land crabs. They love the water and are in the ocean to play at every chance. Year around summer weather is perfect for their short wash-and-wear coats. There is NEVER a dull moment when the Smooth Fox Terrier is around. My family has raised Smooth Fox Terriers in the U.S.A. for over 120 years.......all devoted pets and companions.

President Herbert Hoover owned two Smooth Fox Terriers, Big Ben and Sonnie.

Admiral Bull Halsey owned a Smooth Fox Terrier reportedly onboard the aircraft carrier at the battle of Midway in WWII.

Igloo, a Fox Terrier owned by Admiral Richard Byrd went to Antartica with his master as well as being the first dog to fly over the North Pole.
