Seventeenth Episode
– CHANCE MEETING –
Miaka was studying for her entrance exam. The
warriors were peacefully sleeping except for Nuriko.
Miaka heard this music while no one from the warriors
heard it. They stopped at Tamahome’s house.
Mitsukake healed Tamahome’s father. Hotohori couldn’t
believe that a very poor family existed. Hotohori was
mistaken to be Tamahome’s wife. Chu went to buy
fish for his father and for Mitsukake’s cat. On his
way home, Miaka had mistaken him as Tamahome. Their
appearances were so much alike. Night fell and Miaka
heard the same tune again. When she got out of the
house, the bats attacked her. She ran and tripped
over. The bats won’t stop attacking her. Hotohori
tried to slash the bats and Tasuki tried to burn them
but it was no use. A man playing a flute suddenly
showed up. The bats were going crazy and knocked
themselves in a tree. This man declared that his name
is Amiboshi. There was a Suzaku sign in his chest. He
claimed that the Koto warriors attacked his village
and he managed to escape. Having completed the seven
Suzaku Star Warriors, they went back to the Konum
Palace. Upon hearing the news that Miaka and the
others arrived, Chichiri hurried to meet them and
Hotohori was out of sight. Mitsukake, Tasuki and
Amiboshi couldn’t believe that Hotohori was the
emperor. They planned how to get Tamahome back.
Miaka prepared herself so that she would look good.
Tasuki and Hotohori saw her going to the place where
Chichiri is. Nuriko punched Tasuki for saying that
Hotohori, Miaka and Tamahome belonged to one love
triangle. Chichiri was waiting for Miaka and started
to cast his spell. Tamahome started to appear right
in front of Miaka…
