Nineteenth Episode
– TORN APPART –
Miaka, Tasuki and Chichiri were surrounded. She
made a diversion in order to get the attention of the
troops while Tasuki and Chichiri escape. She was
captured and was put to prison. And as for Chichiri
and Tasuki, they weren’t able to leave the palace
grounds since Nakago sealed off their power by
creating a barrier. In the jail cell, Miaka wasn’t
alone, she has Mitsukake’s cat for company. She
distracted the guards and managed to escape. She left
the jail guard unconscious but with a big smile on his
face. Yui caught Miaka by using food as her bait.
Chichiri and Tasuki were hiding in the tree. They
were looking for Miaka and the guards were looking
for them. Tamahome entered Yui’s room. Miaka cried
as she was running to get closer to Tamahome.
Tamahome started to act strange. He reached for his
weapon and pushed Miaka aside. He ordered Miaka to
stop calling him by his first name. It disgusts him
very much. Miaka didn’t expect Tamahome to react
this way. Tamahome attacked Miaka and wounded her
left shoulder with his weapon during his first attack.
In his second attempt, he missed Miaka’s head for a
few centimeters. Her ribbon fell into the ground.
The guards seized Miaka. Tamahome kept her ribbon in
his waist. On their way, Nakago took Miaka from the
guards. They left the guards and went to a secluded
place. He raised his hands and aimed it at her. She
closed her eyes and accepted her defeat. Instead she
felt a tap on her head. She opened her eyes and saw
Chichiri. Chichiri took the form of Nakago in order
to survey the palace safely. They went back to Tasuki
who’s tied on to a pillar with a guard. Tasuki
treated Miaka’s wounds. He lied on how she got the
wound. She remembered Tamahome when the letter fell
from her pocket. She tricked Tasuki and she was able
to tie him into the pillar again. She headed back to
their meeting place.
