Ninth Episode
The hands that kidnapped Miaka belonged to a funny
looking guy with blue hair. He warned her to be
careful. Assassins from Koto are after her. After
warning Miaka, he disappeared. It seemed like the
hat sucked him back in. Miaka took the hat.
Tamahome found her. They heard Nuriko shout and ran
back. Tamahome’s group was attacked by arrows which
is actually aimed at Miaka. They went to a house to
eat. Tamahome beat up some intruders and asked for an
additional thirty to the money. In the morning Miaka
saw Tamahome leave. She wanted to follow him. She
woke up Nuriko by forcefully opening one of his eyes
and lighting it with a flashlight. They followed
Tamahome back to his hometown and to his house. They
found out that Tamahome was supporting his family with
the money he saved. His younger sister and his father
are sick. Miaka came to the rescue, she gave medicine
to the little girl. One of his siblings asked if
Miaka was his wife. Tamahome for the first time
turned bright red. His father was surprised at what
Nuriko told him. Miaka went out to fetch water from
the river and was attacked by the assassins. Hands
from nowhere came out from Miaka’s back. It was the
funny looking guy. He protected Miaka. Tamahome
felt that Miaka is in trouble and ran after her. He
came there just in time. They defeated the assassins
for a while. The assassins attacked everyone at
Tamahome’s home. Everyone was tied up. Tamahome
tried to defend them but he too was caught. Chichiri,
a monk priest, untied them. He turned out to be the
fourth Suzaku Star Warrior. He had a character
written on his knee. He told them about the Maiden of
Saryuu. Miaka thought that it might be Yui. She
left for Koto …. Alone…..
