| Update: December 30, 2005: Well I have officially graduated from Northern Arizona University with my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing! I have a great job in the ER that I will soon be leaving....and will be starting over in a Cardiac Unit where I am excited to know I will be learning about all things having to do with taking care of the heart! I love the ER, but for now I feel that the Cardiac Unit is where I should be so I can learn as much as possible....it is conflicting on some levels, but in my heart I know the ER nurse in me will take me back someday when its time! We are now off the mountain and still adjusting to a new life in Phoenix, our hometown. Our first holiday "home" has been great, because Anaya and I learned how to make tamales and we will be starting this tradition on our own every year now! Reflecting back on 2005 is bittersweet. I accomplished alot...I said goodbye to many loved ones...I began a new life with my daughter here in Phoenix...and finally got off the "system" by graduating and getting a good job that I know will support the two of us well. I thank God for alot as the New Year approaches...mainly, that HE keeps giving me the strength to move forward despite my fear of the unknown, and the hesitance of all the new things that lie ahead. Lastly, I am grateful I have my child, that we are healthy, and that the Lord has given us so much. Feliz Dia De Nuevo Ano to all my friends who read this. |

Crocheting, reading, and writing. Spending down time with my babygirl! Stuff I dream of: Getting back to the heart of who I am as a woman now that school is done.
