Our first stop in India, reminded us of our very own Phewa

The interesting thing about that place is that there is a small lake at a high altitude. - Subin

The night view of Nainital was so beautiful with reflections of lights, but in the morning I found it so dirty. - Lalita

No-one at the Archana Hotel would answer our calling at 2 a.m., so I had to climb over the gate and go upstairs. I managed to wake up one of the employees and was able to convince him I was not a thief. Only after that did he let all the others in. - Prakash

It is memorable for some of us that we were unable to enjoy sleep. We hardly slept for two hours because of the cold and dusty floor. - Prem Nath

We got a bitter scolding from the bus-park “in-charge” because of the mistake we had made by parking the bus in the wrong area. - Chandra

Suraj KC’s horse was inactive, what we call ‘bhate’. Although he tried hard to go ahead, he couldn’t. - Druba

No matter how giant Salman was and unwilling it was to carry me on its back, I was able to keep it under control amd make it gallop along. - Amrit

We had fun teasing Rabindra and Prakash as they were on ‘donkeys’. - Kamal

Poor me! I had a horse which was too small. - Rabindra

Wosti Sir seemed to be determined that he would ride very fast but the horse owner didn’t let him do so. Then his horse slipped and lay flat on its belly. So poor Wosti Sir had to walk down and pay for the horse as well. - Prakash

Boating was great fun. The boys claim that I nearly drowned them all. - Rabindra
We were moving here and there in the boat, so we got a scolding. - Bidur
