Nuclear weapons

• Very recently India and Pakistan both tested their nuclear weapons. This has contributed to the unhealthy competition of owning more and more nuclear weapons.
• It’s an irony that thousands of people of a country, which spends billions of dollars on nuclear weapons, die of hunger. In a sense those weapons are killing the starving people whom they are intended to protect. - Prakash

• Democracy is for some people to make fools of many people.
• I would like to say to the politicians that politics without ethics is a disaster.

Poverty

• Poverty can’t be checked until and unless the population is checked, people develop concern for each other and also for the country and they themselves are aware of the consequences of their ignorance. - Sita
