A few years back I needed to buy a piano for my son to learn on. I looked in the classifieds and noticed a 9ft grand piano advertised for $200.00. Obviously there had to be something wrong with it
I went along to look at it. It was in the final stages of restringing. The owner had lost interest in the project and just wanted it out of the house.
So I paid the amount and arranged to have it picked up. The previous owner included all the parts neccessary to complete the project
It cost me more to have it moved than it did to buy it. It is an 1890's Erard by London with the keyboard upgraded to modern movement.
