One day I had a daydream, it was very strange
It seemed like past and future had all been rearranged
I was standing there in Heaven, I was looking round for you
And when I couldn't see you I wondered what to do

Now I've come back from the future, and truly I'm amazed
Is it true what I saw in my mind, is it true that you're not saved?
Believe that Jesus died for you and that future won't come true
You'll be back from that future and you'll know just what to do.

As I wandered through those meadows the pleasure was intense as
I saw the mighty Lamb Of God, He blew away my senses
He asked how I was feeling, how could I tell Him I was blue?
So I said "I'm only visiting" and I went to look for you

Now I've come back from the future, and truly I'm amazed
After all the times that you've been told, is it true that you're not saved?
I've told you about Jesus and I hope I've told you well
And most of all I hope that you will not end up in Hell

As I strolled on through Heaven, I thought about my past
Of all the friends I knew back then, but time just didn't last
And as I went I realised what all that time was for
So I'm back now from the future and He's knocking at your door.
