Who govern ourselves
Must take care
For we are
The caretaker government

Democracy 
Is but a word
For people
Ruling
Who but themselves

So take care
Until the Messiah
-In whom none of us 
(perfectly) believes-
Makes His appearance
And takes His place
And takes care
And takes over
-If we let Him-

Wrong - WHEN we let Him
For He WILL come
And He WILL take over
And the government WILL be
On his (very capable) shoulders
