This is a picture of me and one of the greatest physics minds in the world, Stephen Hawking. I went to see him speak when he visited Toronto in April of 1998. I had to travel about 1600km to see him, but it was definitely worth it. Right after this picture was taken by a friend I got to tell Prof. Hawking how much of an influence he had on my life. Needless to say, I was very thrilled at the opportunity.
Many thanks to Jason for securing me tickets to see both of the lectures and letting me stay with him while I was in Toronto. I will never forget it.
