Agreement made this 14th day of October, A.D. 1933
Between
Louis L. Lent of Foothills, in the Province of Alberta, Engineer,
Of the one part,
and -
Royden Lent, of Duffield in the said Province, Farmer,
Of the other part.
Whereas I, Louis L. Lent am at present the owner of certain stock and equipment situate on or near my farm, being the North East quarter of Section Five (5) in Township fifty Three (53) Range Three (3) West of the Fifth (5) Meridian in the province of Alberta, a list of which said stock and equipment is hereunto annexed and marked "&" to this agreement.
And whereas, Royden Lent, in consideration of my giving him an undivided one half share and interest in my said stock and stock increase and equipment at present owned by me, the said Royden Lent has agreed to look after and care for my, the said L. Lent's, share of the said stock and stock increase and equipment as diligently and carefully as if it were his, the said Royden Lent's own, for such length of time as I, the said L.L. Lent, am living away from my said farm and am unable to look after the same myself, or as hereinafter provided.
Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) now paid by Royden Lent to Louis L Lent, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the said Louis L. Lent's agreeing to give the said Royden Lent an undivided one half share and interest in all of his, the said Louis L. Lent's stock and stock increase and equipment at present owned by him, the said Louis L. Lent doth hereby give to the said Royden Lent an undivided one half share and interest in his said stock and stock increase and equipment, to be held by the said Royden Lent as his own property absolutely.
And I, the said Royden Lent, for the consideration aforesaid, do hereby agree to look after and care for the said Louis L. Lent's one half share of the said stock and stock increase and equipment as faithfully and carefully as if it were my own.
And it is further agreed between the said Louis L. Lent and Royden Lent that this agreement as to care of stock and stock increase and equipment (L.L. Lent's share), may be terminated by either party on (3) three months notice in writing to the other party, sent to him by registered mail at his address hereinbefore mentioned.
