Let's make a start shall we? The nicknames are probably the most interesting, so I'll start there. This first story should probably go in the anecdotes section, really.
The name "Jeg" has been getting more and more popular in reference to me.
It all started when I left someone a note and signed myself off "Geoff",
as you do when your name's "Geoff." This person made a comment that I had
atrocious handwriting (not true! It's just artisitc!) and that my f's
looked like g's. Thus started the name Geogg.
This was eventually shortened to plain old Jeg and the name's stuck ever
since.
Other nicknames have included "Tank" as I'm not built like one, "G" as
it's easier to remember (?!) and "GWD" or "Great White Dallimore" when I
tried to impress an English student with my knowledge of Shakespeare and
was accused of chatting her up... The jury's still out on that one.
