The Family Album

Geoff Dallimore This would appear to be a picture of me during that unfortunate period of my life when I thought a beard would look good. I hadn't counted on it being ginger, like my father's, which meant that it was virtually invisible for months - it's certainly not visible in this photo.

The latest change in my image has been to start wearing contact lenses. I've worn glasses for over a decade now, and they're beginning to reach the price range where contacts are a cheaper option.
Here we have a stunning photo of me and my family sitting in my second year room in college. My poor neglected mother was taking the photo and is very glad not to have her image plastered onto the World Wide Web, thank you very much.

The excuse for the family visit was University College Music Society's large scale production of Carmina Burana that evening.

That's two photos of me and you'll begin to understand that there are no good photos of me in existence; a fact of which I am terminally embarrassed and am constantly making excuses for...

Univ Library ...so, for a change, I've stuck in a photo of University College's Library, as seen from my second year room. Being this close to the Library in my second year gave me the perfect excuse not to use its facilities. I didn't extend this line of thinking to the the College Bar, however, which is slightly to the right of this picture.

As another attempt to introduce an interesting fact, Stephen Hawking's Grandfather stayed in one of the rooms near mine while he was at Univ. It could have been my room itself... Wow!
