Jacob and Mary Holbrook to Richard Chandler
Georgia - This Indenture made and agreed to this twenty third day of February one thousand eight hundred and twenty between Jacob Holbrook and Mary his wife of the County of Franklin and State aforesaid of the one part and Richard Chandler of the state and county aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that I the said Jacob Holbrook and Mary Holbrook his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred dollars to us in hand paid by the said Richard Chandler at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and delivered unto the said Richard Chandler in fudioaple?  All that divident tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the state and County aforesaid and on the North fork of Broad River containing one hundred and twenty seven acres be the same more or less, beginning at a Hickory corner on said River thence down the River as it meanders to a Stake Corner thence N.25 W 50 chains to a post oak corner thence S 15 W 6 the place of beginning.  Together with all and singular the rights members and appertainances thereof with all the benefits and profits that now is or herafter may arive from said land and we the said Jacob Holbrook and Mary Holbrook from this lawful right or title of us our hands and assigns will warrant and forever defend the said bargained land and promised from all and every other person or persons whatsoever to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Richard Chandler his heirs and assigns forever, In Witness whereof we do her unto set our hands and seals the day and date first above written.
