Diagnostics Technician Invensys plc. (formerly Siebe / Robertshaw Controls Inc.), Holland, MI. 1999-2001:
Responsible for diagnostic repairs on all failures from our function testers on three production lines of microprocessor controlled oven controls for G.E., Amana, and Sears products, keeping track of repairs through Repair Data Collection forms.
P.C. Repair Technician P.C. Doctors, Wilmington, DE. 1987-1990:
Responsible for repairs on XX286 to XX386 and peripherals. Being very familiar with RS-232,, I became the go-to guy for any clients with problems with mini-computers, such as the DEC 11XX series. Also specialized in repairs on monitors and printers. Additional responsibilities included keeping track of depot level repairs and shipping.
P.C. Specialist PCR - Personal Computer Rentals, Wilmington, DE. 1986-1987:
Responsible for the repair, set-up, and software installation on IBM PCs and ATs for short and long term rentals. Traveling as far as Washington, D.C. and Atlantic City, N.J., I went to trade-shows and office buildings, to set-up the PCs. I also did billing and Accounts Receivable, both on paper and computer .

Responsible for scheduling the service calls each day for a 3 man repair cemter supporting a sales force of six. Training for both our customer base as well as our staff was a large part of this position.
P.C. TechnicianUpstate Computer Shop, Utica, N.Y. 1982-1984:
My first job in the computer business was working for the same people that sold me my first P.C., an Apple II. Starting on the sales floor during the busy Christmas season, later moving into the shop doing repairs on Apples and Commodore computers, for which we were authorized dealers. Also K-Pros, Victors, and an early IBM compatible. Went on to develop a customer service department to help our growing base of customers with software installation, writing printer drivers for non standard printers, and running a BBS.
