Artist Bio:

Originally from Medellin,Colombia,South America.

I started painting out of a love for nature. Painting has become my obsession, and is what I love to do. I am a self - taught artist with a preference in working with oils on canvas, though I have explore other mediums. I currently reside in Greenwich, Connecticut and have participated in various juried art shows, including the White Plains Outdoor arts festival in White Plains, New York. I have begun working with an art publishing company in July 2003,where my work has been distributed in print and poster format domestically and internationally at Roaring Brook Art Company.

Personal Statement:

I believe that my artistic vision is driven more and more by the beauty I see every day in nature. Each painting has its own beauty and character that is revealed by color and texture in my work. In our busy and somewhat complicated world, I want my paintings to be a moment of peace and tranquility to the people who come in contact with my work.
