My Sabers

Below are pictures and basic information about how I put all of my lightsabers together. Each one was done without the help of any machining, and usually took me about an hour to hour and a half for each one that I put together.  If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me at gabe_asst@yahoo.com
The Steel Saber

This was the first one I did.  I decided to do something different from what most people were doing, and I went with steel pipe.  Now the bonus of this was that I could just screw most everything in together.  the downside is that it likes to proclaim its measurements on the outside of certain parts and the weight.  A lightsaber should not say that it was made in Thailand.  The parts are as follows, all of which were obtained from Home Depot.  I don't remember the parts exactly, but here's what I can remember.

3/4th inch thick steel pipes: 2, 4" and 5".
One Cap, 3/4th inch at screw end.
One enlargerattachement, going from 3/4ths in thickness to 1.5 inch thickness for emitter.
3/4th inch thick joiner.
6 thick O-rings, 4 thin O-rings
Vinyl Mat

Simply put, you screw everything together, with the 5" pipe being the handle.  The O-rings are used to stylishly cover the teeth on the pipes that are exposed.  Be careful when measuring and cutting the mat to cover the handle as it's rather a large pain to get the glueing just right, and as you'll see in later sabers I went to just using electrical tape.  Not much to really explain here otherwise as it was the most simple one I ever made.
