Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle had once again flown down from the heavens with Serena by her side(?). Those brilliant hues scanning the horizon, before aiming them towards the grassy surface below. Wings played to roll around her as she made her deliquite descent. A heightened smile upon her soft face as she witnessed the roses in full bloom, and the winds calming to her arrival. Soft reddened hair flowed behind her in slight lift to tickle her shoulders and back softly. A deep breath was noted then to follow as she paused not but a foot or two from the ground to hover with wings spanned. Turning her head left, right, over each shoulder, and then forward again, before slowly allowing tips of toes to grace the soft grassy soil below.. following with the rest of her weight.::

Straetha: *The silver-tipped black feathers were curled around her as she watched the skies. She had come here for some quiet contemplation, preferring her own company to that of the others. She was not particularly surprised to see the Lady Gabrielle appear above her, but she slid further into the shadows to watch. She was not particularly keen on speaking with any angel at the moment, fallen or otherwise. She had been avoiding them all because she did not know what to do with herself otherwise. She was extrodinarily unhappy in her current predicament, being stuck between darkness and light.*

Serena: It was amazing how looks couold be so decieving..especially with a child. On the outside, everything seemed perfect; there was an image of a carefree little girl that didn't have a care in the world, and was just so happy to be with her family once again. If only that could be true for the inside as well. A worry plagued her mind, and no matter how well her mother reassured her, that feeling remained. Fake smile tugged at those now pale twins, and that auburn hair that was nortioriously known for those pigtails, were for the first time cut free. Tiny fingertips remained intertwined with that of her mother's as she remained hovered, small wings seeming extending somewhat to keep her stable. " Oh mommy, it's so beautiful, isn't it? "

Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle turned to Serena, as she reached out to grasp her in a soft huggle, nodding.:: Indeed it is, my little princess. ::a brightened smile was pasted on her face. True, her own was that of a mask to hide her true emotions of fear and worry. What lay ahead of them? Would they.. nae, could they ever be a happy family? Gabrielle was surely going to die trying. Keeping a locked, easing gaze to her, before she turned to pace towards the familiar oak.:: here we are.. ::Wings unfurled a bit larger now, as a glistening came around the branch to trickle down in strands, leaving a golden like appearance of a swing. Setting serena down upon it, as she stood beside her a moment:: See how the flowers bloom? .. Even the Gardens seem to have been given more life, now that you have returned. ::she smiled brightly.. tears swelling in those sapphire hues::

Serena: " Mmhmm, the flowers are beautiful, and it's nice that the garden's are happy to see me. " A light nibble would come to that lower lip, a shade of light red finally coming to it as she watched her mother's eyes, and those tears forming within them.As she sat in that swing, she continued her thought, such things shouldn't haunt a child's mind, but those things that her grandfather had said..she couldn't keep it in any longer. " Mommy, is.. grandpa really going to hurt daddy or you? " It was odd, though all that had happened, she still couldn't manage to understand why, even though the answers were right in front of her. " Mommy, I'm scared, I don't want you or daddy to die. " A bit of a lip quiver and those eyes were soon full of tears as she looked at the angel before her. It was so unfair, why couldn't they just be happy, live without a fear?

Straetha: *With a silent downbeat of those silvered ebony wings she was alighting on a tree branch, brilliant blue eyes regarding them quietly from that sanctuary. She did not wish to disturb them... being whom she was, however, her very existance would likely disturb them... She sighed softly, a breath whistling between rose colored lips. She folded her wings against her back lightly, a single silver-tipped feather gliding on the wind and away to the earth below. She swore mentally and hoped that it would not disturb the mother and daughter. She had decided to be of neither alignment, though she could only be defined as evil... regardless of what her heart said.*

Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle looked at her daughter intently as she questioned her fathers actions.. shaking her head as she knelt down to cradle her away from such terrible thoughts:: Shhh, sweetheart.. no one is ever going to hurt mommy or daddy.. you can be sure of that.. I promise you that. ::Gabrielle smiled, most reassuringly towards her. Though, if there was anyone that needed to be reassured of her victory, it was she herself. Huggling her daughter soundly as she kept a solid smile on her face.:: We *will* end this, and live happily.. ::crossing her heart, and then tapping serena's nose with her index finger:: .. that's a solemn promise.. ::Gabrielle giggled softly as she looked over her shoulder. Though that face was held softly, and reassuring.. those eyes scanned, before offering a nod towards the distant area in thanks for the distance and allowance of maternal love that was being shared without interfereance::

Serena: Tear stained face nestled itself against the crook of her mother's neck as she was held so close, that reassurance seemed to help ease Ser's mind, though, that feeling of seer uncertainty remained. With a pull back, she gave a nod, gentle smile slowly returning as she brought her hand to her face to wipe those few remaining tears away. A light chuckle followed by the crossing of the heart and tap to the nose. " Momma, what was that for? The nod? " She was still oblivious to the fact that there was someone else with them, someone watching in utter silence. " Is someone here? " It was amazing how a child could change moods so quickly. Such short attention spans they had, full of curiousity all the same.

Straetha: *she returned the nod quietly, the wind catching that black and silver feather and dancing it across the grass. She was unarmed this time, wearing only the same leather armor with silver filagree scrolling across it. The dark hair was bound back in a severe braid as she slid higher into the tree, seeking a less visible perch*

Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle turned to her daughter with a light smile on her face, before allowing it to fade to her response in question. Of course, the nod in return didn't go unnoticed as she had well noted it's presence as well.:: No worries sweetie... they mean no harm to us tonight. ::standing slowly, and softly, she reached for the ropes of the swing, to gently swing her daughter. it's amazing how relaxing it was .. to be swung. Offering a soft chuckle as she stood behind the swing.. :: Well now, is there anything you'd like to do? .. I know a certain kitty who is just aching to see you..

Serena: " Alright mommy. " A bit of pondering came to mind, other things being forgotten as the ropes to the swing were being grasped and pulled at. " My Kitty! OH! Where is it? " Hmm, other things to do, there was so much.. so many things to catch up on. Legs uncrossed at the ankles and extended as she moved, adjusting herself at a more comofortable position. " What would you like to do mommy? " Giggles sputtered through as she regained that happiness that seemed to have been lost.

Straetha: *she just sat quietly, watching the sight with a quiet melancholy*

Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle just chuckled, as she brought two fingers to her lips, and blew.. a loud whistling emerged to summon their faithful cat.. Pandora. And that's when the little trouble maker came bounding out from the bushes and grass.. leaping onto gabrielle's head, and over into Serena's lap.. Gabrielle seemed almost dumbfounded for a moments time.. looking left and right and then down to the apparent mischeivious one now in her daughters lap:: oh my!! It seems Pandora has missed you, don't you agree? ::gabrielle snickered lightly.. glancing over her shoulder towards the one still in hiding.. nodding softly with a tender smile.. a gentle invite of peace, if she wished to join them in light conversation::

Serena: " Kitty! Oh yes mommy, I do agree! " Fingertips reached out to caress that silk like fur that covered the Pandora, it had been so long since she actually had gotten to see that beautiful cat, it was such a wonderful moment. Giggles continued to follow, having that image of Pandora leaping from her mother's head and into her lap. " Silly kittie, how have you been? " Eyes closed for only a second she clutched hold of the cat and gave it a hug. " Ooh, I've missed you so much. " Once again, she had noticed her mom motion towards the stranger that had managed to keep hidden, a thought forming, but then disappearing as she tickled the cat's belly.

Straetha: *she opened her wings, sliding out of the tree and into the air silkily, landing with a quiet sound of barren feet against the grass. She folded her wings and bowed to Gabrielle and then to her daughter* It is a pleasure, my lady, to see you again, *she was not lying, truly. She had no wish to see anyone, but the lady Gabrielle had been kind to her*

Gabrielle: ::Giggling softly to her daughter and her companion feline, Pandora.. bonding once more, as they used to in older times. And then that head of hers turned towards Straetha once more.. offering a nod in response:: Aye.. as it is to see you. I hope you have been well? ::Well noting the nature of her wings.. why was it the queen was so sincere and nice to this fallen one? Could it be that Gabrielle was truely caring for all those angels, fallen or not? .. of course!! Looking back to her daughter, as Pandora batted at her fingertips in lighthearted play, she couldn't help but laugh once more::

Serena: That light play with Pandora had all but ceased as her head upturned to that female voice. Who was this? Aquamarine hues focused upon the alter angel, studying her over as though she was trying to place her. Alas, that would not be so. Eyes fell back to her mother, but of a shrug gesture forming. It was almost as though she was questioning who this other one was, and why had she been so silent before. Motionless face soon returned to it's normal lighthearted nature as the cat that was in her lap took hold of her index finger and began to nibble on it. " Such a cute kitty, you haven't changed a bit. " The once silenced giggles returned as she twisted those golden ropes, only to let them go in a spin. All worry had ceased from her mind, it was only when she was alone with her thoughts that they would return, but that wouldn't be anytime soon.

Straetha: *she nodded solomnly to the girl, she did not smile much any more, not like she ever had to begin with* I do hope I am not intruding, my lady Gabrielle. I was here to gather my thoughts and was not prepared to face any others... *she sounded wistful and a touch sad. But all would pass in the blink of an eye*

Gabrielle: ::looking to her daughter at play.. soon ceased by her acknowledgement towards the other angelic being about.. leaning in closely to her ear, she whispered:: It's alright sweetie.. sometimes.. appearances can be misleading. She means us no harm now.. ::a gentle nod, and kiss to the cheek as she backed away to an erect position once more to answer straetha:: .. not at all. The gardens are here for those wishing peace.. feel free to reflect all that you wish. As long as you mean us no harm this night, we will do no such to you. ::looking back down to her daughter and pandora at play.. in that silent moment, she heard a twinkling in the distance.. and before she could even turn, there she was. the little fae she had come to care for in her home..:: ahh! feeling much better I see.. ::she smiled softly.. looking down and leaning forwards once more:: .. this is m daughter.. serena.. Serena.. this is.. ::she canted her head.. :: oh yes.. I don't believe we did ever find a suitable name for you.. did we? .. ::she took a moment in thought, as the fae seemed to look to them both.. leaving them to decide a nice name for her::

Serena: As she had listened to what her mother had said, Ser just smiled, realizing that it was all true. More often, appearance were quite misleading. " Mommy, I don't mind if she stays, she seems nice. " It was obvious that she had found something in that other angel that was gentle .. a non sense of fear. That kiss landed perfectly upon her cheek as she sat back, smile as wide as ever, twas quite obvious that she was a momma's girl, which, wasn't so surprising when one actually went to think about it. She listened to her mother's words as she spoke to the angel, a nae finally being spoken for her, Straetha. The playing didn't cease though, not until she noticed that fairy that was in front of her. " Hello! " Left hand lifted from Pandora and extended to the tiny one before her, index sticking out as though to shake. " You're so beautiful little fae. " Head tilted towards her Gabrielle. " Mommy, why not call her - " A pause, and then she spoke once more. " Devyna? "

Straetha: *she nodded to the two women* I have to depart anyway... *she spread her wings and launched into the air, a few silver-tipped feathers floating down to herald her departure*

Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle nodded softly as she continued to smile warmly. Canting her head off to the side as she looked to the fae.. :: Hrmm, that's a strong name.. how do you like it? .. ::the fae canted her head a bit in thought.. a giggling ponderment. Gabrielle just waited in anticipation to see if the fae would like such a name. Fae's always seemed to be fickle about names. And finding one that would be suitable for her would indeed be tough. Gabrielle simply nodded and continued to offer that warming smile:: .. Tell ya what.. why don't you try the name out for a few days, and if you like it, you can keep it? .. ::the fae nodded excitingly:: wonderful! .. In the meantime, let's head back to the palace.. i'm sure daddy is just dieing to see you ::she held her hand out towards Serena:: ..

Serena: Ser couldn't help but be excited that the fae even thought about considering the name she brought up, and this only made her smile more, just the thought of her keeping it. " Oh yes!@ We must go see daddy! " Reaching up, she took her hand, arm tucked around Pandora as those little wings began to extend. " Oh mommy, this has been the best day, ever! " And she meant it.

Gabrielle: ::gabrielle could only giggle as she lifted Serena and Pandora into her own arms.. wings comming to fold around them.. that little fae still resting on her shoulder, playfully giggling beside herself.:: Well, I'm not sure about that .. the best day ever.. is the day you were born.. ::she nodded confidently.. fighting those warming tears in her eyes.. As she slowly closed her eyes, a sparkling presence came to swirl around them. slowly allowing them to vanish from the gardens, and slowly fade into the presence of the palace. Setting her and pandora down onto the tile flooring.. she spoke in slight whisper:: .. Go ahead sweetie.. go find daddy.. ::Gabrielle was just overjoyed with her family being one again.. and it was well noted in the others demeanor, as pandora followed close behind Serena, batting at her legs and feet as she would move.. the fae fluttering over to perch on Serena's shoulder::
