-:|[ Players; Gabriel & Gabrielle ]|:-
Gabriel: Gabriel moved quietly along the stairway, he knocked on his daughters room to see if she felt better from last night. "Gabrielle? Gabrielle are you awake?" He would say in a loud yet gentle voice. Gabriel was afterall very worried after she collapsed on him lsat night, and as such he couldn't help but beat himself up about what he was doing to her, he knew it just didn't want to admit to it for a few reasons. Gabriel waited patiently, he had a tray of tea in his hand with a cup for her. "Gabrielle, its time to wake up!" He would say pleasantly, knocking on the door yet again.
Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle still layed in bed, turning a bit from side to side, as she opened those eyes .. a sense of weakness, usually the sense after the 'rush' of energy that came. blinking softly, as she muttered out a whispered "come in" to her father at the door. Hand came up to press against forhead, and follow through coursing through hair. Gabrielle was feeling worn out, completely.. on the lighter note, the effects were usually *always* temporary, and she would regain her energy back within the next hour or two.. ::
Gabriel: Gabriel pushed on oaken portal, gentle steps brought him to her bedside. He set the platter down on the bedside table and pouted watching her. He poured her a cup of the tea. "Be careful its hot." He would say, smiling. He watched her for a moment longer, and gave a deep sigh, sitting on the foot of the bed. "I have a surprise for you you might like Gabrielle. I know how much you hate being couped up like this." Gabriel watched her for a moment longer, watching her quietly. "You know Sariel, shes quite wise for her age, and shes right..."
Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle sat up slightly, as she grasped the tea, and blew into the cup. Keeping a watchful eye on her father as he spoke, canting her head.. :: .. yes, that she is. Though.. you both seem to have my life already planned out for me then, hrm? .. ::taking a sip, only to lower the cup and speak once more:: .. you both spoke as if I wasn't even there.. continuing on like i was some sort of animal to be shared.. ::She shook her head, setting the glass down:: ..you all have no faith in me.. so, then tell me why I should have so much faith in you? ..
Gabriel: "Your absolutely right Gabrielle, and I am sorry I do not mean to treat you like that. Things have just been...different since Leeloo died...." He paused, biting his lip and pushing down the rage. "You can have as little faith in me as you wish, you could disown me as your father if thats what you truly wanted, and I'm going to give you that chance. I'm releasing you to do all that you want, see your husband...." He grumbled about that. "Conjure with your 'soldiers', and even tend to your gardens. All without me there, I'm releasing you because I don't want to see you suffer anymore, and I'll find a different way to win I assure you... I don't lose." He said definetly. "Or you can think I lie, and lay there?" He smiled.
Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle narrowed her eyes a bit in thought, listening to all that was being said.. interesting, he'd listen to an angel of lower rank, but not his own daughter, when she had suggested so much more. Hrmm.. at this point? Gabrielle would most likely be tending to all her duties from the Palace. Gabrielle was obviously more than irritable in all of this.. and proved in her snide response back in short lived words:: .. Fine. And think what you will, but I will surely die, before I allow the Gods to. Thus, if you wish to win, it will mean MY death.. think on that.. ::Gabrielle gathered all her energy to fling the covers off and away from her.. only to sit at the edge of the bed, and begin her readiness to depart in her usual 'flashy' mannor.. :: ..
Gabriel: Gabriel stood, and moved to the doorway, he didn't even turn to face her. "I already did, Gabrielle, the second you leave this house, I won't be so friendly. This is the last time I will see you as anything but my enemy. If that means you kill me, or I kill you. So be it!" He smiled. "I'm not going to hold back, and neither should you." Gabriel turned to face her. "No quarter, because you shall recieve none! I trust you can find your own way out." Gabriel moved down the stairway and into his study quietly, picking up his book and letting her do what she wanted and leave.
Gabrielle: ::Gabrielle nodded, fair enough.. though, in her moment of thought, she decided it best to simply venture back home, and think on it there.. with that notion met with a nod, she stood, silently, only to have her wings unfurl from behind her, and wrap her in a cocoon one last time in this place.. allowing herself to vanish in a swirl of feathers to which fell to the ground in a sparkling dust, only to sparkle itself out of exsistance.. yet, a few words came to pass, in an echo of her fathers home.. :: .. you're foolish if you think that is the only way to win.. and even more foolish to believe that, is what I want.. ::and gone it was.. right along with she.. ::
Gabriel: Gabriel paid little heed to her words. He only cackled to her words, lips twisted in a dark smile. He set his book down finally, turning the last page and replacing the bookmark. "Its no longer what we want Gabrielle..." He would whisper, moving to a window to look into the fields outside his home, like a endless glimmervoid with the rays of the setting sun holding to the last bit of light. Gabriel was formulating something, as to what it was well ... time would tell wouldn't it? He pushed every emotion of her out of his mind, abandoned all hope for a peaceful end to this.
