What:
Write a story (short or long) concerning your character and Christmas. Your character has to somehow be doing something pertaining to it. I.E.: Your character decides to put up a tree. Meaning, it has to have something symbolic of Christmas IN it.
Who:
Your character, and your character alone.
Rules:
1. No helping someone else!!
2. Must be a MIN of 1000 words.
3. Must have something "Xmas" like in it.
4. No plagiarizing!!
5. Must be original (don't use something you used last year!!).
6. Must be submitted BY Dec. 1st, 2004.
This story can be something sad, happy, perhaps your character has an angry history of Christmas? Doesn't matter! Remember, there's no limit on how many Christmas items you use, or WHAT items you use either. And be creative! if it's a 6 page novel on your character and Christmas, that's cool!! there is NO limit on how far you can go!!
What to do:
What you're going to do, is post your result to the MB. Each one as an INDIVIDUAL posting. (so please, if someone posts "Christmas with a smile" .. don't post to it.. post your own new subject.) Please don't label subjects "Xmas contest" either. Please label ALL posts with your own individual title, and THEN with "(Xmas contest)" as shown (in parentheses). Be as creative as you like.. don't let anything hold you back. Please DO remember to keep it Clean. We do have rules about the boards too to follow.
What you're going to get:
You're going to get a SPECIAL RP item for your character. Remember, I can't give you anything that cannot be given to begin with (I.E.: Gabrielle's tear, or the crown). Since there's always a concern about giving people's address out to a complete stranger (completely understandable! :D), I think it's best to give out something that your character could use. If ya'll think otherwise, send me an e-mail! And we'll work something out.
We need at *least* 3 members participating in the contest for there to be declared any winners. Otherwise, it's all in good fun! I cannot participate, and here's why..
How you'll be judged:
Well, everyone will be judged not only by me, and my husband, but, by the ENTIRE group. Meaning, everyone in the group, will be able to vote for whomever they think should win! it will of course be a SILENT ballot.. and you *cannot* vote for yourself. Which is why I won't be participating. :P ..
