Psycho Le Cemu Interview
     October, 2001 Shoxx
-- This time I think I want to try to hear about the characters of "The Secret Society of Justice"
DAISHI: Are you prepared? Again, because everybody's turning into dark characters, things like "These guys, they're sure screwed up, huh?" are being said (laugh).
--Ahahaha. I'm pretty much used to it, so it's fine, I won't be incredibly surprised. I'm rather looking forward to it so please- just say it (laugh).
DAISHI: Oh, you're frankly just making me go (laugh). My Doppelganger name is "CRI'N HUNT REVOLUTION".
--Eh? What? You even have names this time?
DAISHI: Even though you said you wouldn't be incredibly surprised, aren't you already really surprised? (laugh) Still, it's not like that, don't be so surprised on the first stairway! Because this time, we have "powers"!
--Waa, powers? Well then, CRI'N HUNT REVOLUTION-san, what sort of power do you have?
DAISHI: Yes, yes (laugh). You were surprised at merely the name, but y'know, it doesn't really have any meaning. My power is called "CRI'N EXPLOSION" and it has a sort of "Burning up bad guys with the flame of justice" characteristic to it.
--We've entered into a fairly virtual world this time, haven't we (laugh). So what about you, YURA-san?
YURA: I am the one called the Pueple Princ~
--Is it abbreviated to "Paapuri"?
YURA: No, no, when it's abbreviated it's "Paapurin" (paa pudding). Although I think that's kind of a failure, isn't it (laugh). But aren't I that kind of name? I'm a prince!~ Purple is my favorite color and so I wanted to put that in, and prince is a word that is there for me!~
AYA: Hn. You abbreviate it to Paa Pudding.
Seek: Nonchalantly cursing him (laugh).
DAISHI: Lately, even in ordinary life, AYA-kun is getting more naughty and often Lida is his prey (laugh).
Lida: Annoying (a simple statement). To all of us. (bursts out laughing)
DAISHI: Lida's really good at those simple one word sayings, isn't he. It has a certain flavor that no one can imitate, doesn't it (laugh).
--For sure. That's Lida-kun's power, huh (laugh). Well, what's the Pueple Prince's power?
YURA: It's called "Love Love Fire" and it is a power like "falling in love with a flame of passion that burns the opponent". However, my power has a weak point, and that's that is only works on women. Well, because men aren't necessary for me (laugh). The other 4 take care of male enemies for me. Therefore, even if I didn't have this power, girls are obsessed with me so I don't need it~
--Yes, yes. Though love is blind, it brings down opponents, doesn't it. Well then, what're you, AYA-kun?
AYA: My name is ALICE. It's kind of like and Alice in Wonderland image. There are a lot of playing card marks on my clothing and the baggy dress makes a point. Baggy clothes are really raer in visual kei, but aren't they cute? My power is the "Pink Bomb"! There are a lot of little Alices, but they're really bombs, and they face the enemy and take them down in a suicide explosion! The bomb's strength isn't very strong, and it's the weakest Doppeldanger. It's weak point is switching sides (laugh).
--Ahahaha. Next, what're you, Lida-kun?
Lida: Me, I'm "Heaven's Wings". I'm a Phoenix. The truth is, I've been imagined as a bird secretly since the times of Utopia. You look a lot and you wonder if somewhere there might be wings. My power is "Tornado of Soul". I make the joints of both arms spin and create a tornado that makes a vacuum!
DAISHI: That can't happen! Why are you lying? How 'bout an "I'm sorry"?
Lida: Why am I the only one who's scolded? What everyone else does can't really happen either! Now it can't work but if I transform it can work!
--Ahahaha. Well, what about you, seek-kun?
Seek: I'm "Ura Ashitaka" (backwards Ashitaka). It hints at "Princess Mononoke"'s Ashitaka-san. He's a normal human being and a soldier but, he attacked an animal god and the animal (wild boar) inspirits him. Same with Lida, from the days of Utopia I've always been thought of as sort of a fish, and the fish god's curse possesses my body. Therefore, my power is called "Piccolo Hand". My right hand is long the truth is that it's actually my left hand. I extend that hadn and that hand draws bad guys into a swamp and strangles them to death.
--Yes, this time sure is dark (laugh). June 16's ON AIR EAST was the second time Psycho le Cemu started, can we hear your thoughts and feelings on that?
DAISHI: Yes, yes. The five of us felt different things, and after it ended we talked about various things, but again it turned into stimulation and was interesting. My personal opinion is that there were a lot of arrangements, and there was a fairly large number of places, but even though there were a lot of things that fit together like that, I thought it wasn't very supported and bad.
--But surely you thought you got a better hold on the sound in the second half, right? But usually when you do a live, your body probably gets familiar with it in the second half, and in PLC's case, because you have "BURASUARUFAA", that part's difficult. But aren't you used to that?
DAISHI: We are. But like you've been telling me, I also think my voice came out better in the second half, and the encore was the time that was most "fun" I felt (laugh). Because there weren't any arrangements anymore, and because I could sing along with everyone, I had a very enjoyable feeling. Even if there are arrangements, I want to be able to hope for that feeling in all of our lives.
--Yeah, that's right. Well, what about you, YURA-san?
YURA: As for me, we didn't really have control over how large the capacity was or how much or how little you could move. There was tension at EAST, but, all in all, I wondered if I was able to maintain my own pace. Surely we'll do more one man tours after this, and we'll have things to compare. I think we'll have reflections like "That time, we did this, so this time let's do this"!
AYA: Really the huge amount of arrangements this time was a suicide bomb, wasn't it (laugh). But really, I have reflections like, "Did we over do it?",  or "Would it have been better to have had a more raw feeling to it?" On a mental note, there really was tension. As for me, ever since I came to Tokyo, it had been my dream to have a live at EAST. Therefore, I was really nervous. Therefore, in the second half, my nerves were tired, and I was just hanging around (laugh). Even like that, I thought it took a lot of energy for being bad. But the pink guitar that I used this time was an AYA Model! I designed it myself and so I was really happy.
Seek: Yeah yeah! From now on, we made various models of guitars and basses, and it makes us really happy. But yeah, the tension really did rise during our performance.
Lida: Really, I was always playing it at home too. It's a very important thing to me (laugh).
YURA: Someday I'm going to make a YURA-sama drumset model that's like a castle!
- Ahahaha.  Well then, what about you, Lida-kun?
Lida: It was the first time we'd used those clothing and that place, and there was tension, but I think that the places that worked without a whole lot of trouble were good.  But, as the day went on, the points to reflect upon changed. Immediately after we finished, we were full of a feeling of achievement, but gradually we began to feel uneasy (laugh). The places I thought, "I wonder if this went bad" when I watched it on the video, they actually went pretty well. Well, those kind of opposite things were also there, though, huh. I think it would be good to go in the direction of strengthening those meticulous places.
-Well, lastly, how about you, seek-kun?
Seek: This time, I was really nervous. Really, to the extent that I had my teeth clenched. The costumes were new, and because the tale was new to me as well, and until I saw the fans' reactions, I was really worried and nervous. But really, the happiest thing for me was the last encore when we did "REMEMBRANCE" and I thought that surely the crowd was thinking "Aa, this is the grand finale", but after that song ended, the voices that were crying "encore" just kept going and going, and we didn't know what to do. Then, all five of us said, "Let's do it!" and did one last song, but it really wasn't in our plans, and all of our plans had ended, but inside of our heads, we all enjoyed it. Like DAISHI said, continuously we have circumstances like this, and without affecting the number of our plans, we want to have fun lives. After this, we're going to make the best of all of those kind of reflections, and we'll stick to it!
