My most recent photo
This is one of the most recent photos I have, taken in early 2003.

Born: April 27th 1984 in Bochum, Germany.
Age: 19
Height: 6"2 (183cm) or there abouts!
Location: Canberra ACT

Brief History:
Six months after I was born, my parents came back to Australia. We lived in Geelong, Victoria til I was 10 years old. When I was 4 my parents separated, and only just recently divorced. In 1994, due to personal reasons, we left Geelong and moved to the NSW South Coast. There we enjoyed a different lifestyle in the country by the beach. We bought a house in Orient Point in 1998 so we wouldn't have the problem of moving all the time. Due to circumstances I left school in mid 2001, and began the tedious search for work. I eventually found a job in Perisher Valley at Matterhorn Ski Lodge. There I was the waiter, housekeeper, and driver among other things. A couple of weeks after the snow season ended, I left home and relocated to Canberra. I soon found a job at the National Convention Centre (NCC) where I started out as a Steward, but now I work in Floor Operations doing set-ups and waiting for a range of different functions. It is a very professional environment. I also work on occasions at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which operates jointly the NCC. Both places are owned by the same parent company called '6 Continents".

Interests:
I love to play piano and started learning when I was 9. Currently I am at 5th Grade AMEB level, however I can play 8th grade music. I mostly play classical, but I'm branching out to some modern music, blues/jazz, and movie themes. I also play the flute, and some guitar, but not as well. I also like working with computers doing graphic and web design. One of my goals is to learn computer programming, but I don't think I'll be doing that. I love animals aswell. As a kid growing up we always had pets, ranging from dogs and cats, fish, blue tongue lizards, turtle, lorikeets, rosella's, an eagle, chickens, ducks...practically lived in a zoo! I also love to travel, and one day hope to go around Europe, and other places. I am also interested in languages. I can speak a fair bit of German (having a German background and all) and I can speak some French. Other languages I would like to learn include Italian, Russian, and maybe some Chinese. I like cooking aswell. I usually do the cooking at home. I would really like to try bungee jumping and sky diving sometime...

Recently I found out that I wasn't an Australian citizen. This came about when I tried to get a passport, but then I obviously ran into difficulties because I wasn't born here. All that's fixed up now. I got my citizenship certificate in July, by decent. Had to prove I was (or at that time could be) Australian by proving that my father was Australian at the time of my birth by obtaining my grand-father's original citizenship applicaion form which he fixed up in 1963, and his 3 children at the time (ie my father) were also included on that certificate. Sounds confusing? You bet it was. I even got a little citizenship badge. "A sense of belonging" it says... hmmm...
