MENTAL HEALTH - PSYCHIATRIC / CLINICAL SERVICES If you are feeling of hopeless, helpless, depressed, overwhelmed, anxious, out-of-control, or out-of-touch, then River Edge Behavioral Health Center can be of help. River Edge Behavioral Health Center provides a full range of mental health clinical and residential services for adults ages 18 and older. Services range from outpatient to inpatient. CHILD, ADOLESCENT AND FAMILY THERAPY SERVICES The Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy program serves families with children and youth ages 3 to 17 who are experiencing significant emotional stress or problems. Assessments, including nursing and psychiatric, are conducted to determine appropriate services. Individual, group, family therapy, and specialized after school program are offered. Parent and guardian involvement is required. Services available include individual, family, and group counseling. In addition, our Recovery Center provides short-term crisis stabilization for the person requiring detoxification. Also, our Project Connect Program serves addicted mothers with children. This program provides transportation, day services, GED classes and temporary shelter. An intake process is completed to determine service needs. Services provided in Bibb County include clinical outpatient services(e.g. physician, nursing, and diagnostic assessment, individual, group and family therapy). In addition, residential, respite care, and supported employment services are provided.
